Arcande Tradition: Culinary School

During your studies you have learned to weave in magic with the food you prepare. The meals you make are capable of bolstering those who partake in them. Your magic also allows you to conjure food magically to assist in shortages.

Culinary Arts

You gain proficiency in Survival or Nature of your choice. You are also proficient with Cook's Utensils.

Curative Lunch

Starting at 2nd level you can imbue your food with healing magic. During a short rest you and up to eight other creatures gain 1d8 health by you expending a pound of food and a gallon of water. This increases to 2d8 at 6th level, 3d8 at 10th level, and 4d8 at 14th level. Creatures are also fed and watered for the day. Once cannot use this feature until you finish a long rest.

Cookbook

When you gain a wizard level you can replace one spell you would add to your spellbook with any of the spells listed below. The spell must be of a level which you have spell slots for.

Any spell you gain from this feature is considered a wizard spell for you, but other wizards can't copy these spells from your own spellbook into their spellbook.

Ingredient Master

Starting at 6th level you are capable of casting Create Food and Water without expending a spell slot. The food you conjure with the spell is not bland and can be of any combination of ingredients as long as it stays in the weight limit of the spell.

You can choose to expend the spell slot to cast the spell to magically preserve the food removing the 24 hour limit written in the spell. You do not need to have the spell in your spellbook or prepared to be able to use this feature. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Warrior's Banquet

Starting at 10th level you are capable of bolstering your allies with a good meal. During a short rest you prepare a meal for up to eight creatures by expending 4 pounds of food and 2 gallons of water. For the next 4 hours they gain a +1 bonus to all attack rolls and saving throws. Once you use this feature you cannot use it again until you finish a long rest.

Restful Meal

Starting at 14th level you are able to cook a meal so good that it revitalizes you and those who eat it. Spending an hour you can expend a 7th level spell slot to allow up to eight creatures to benefit from a long rest. This does not count towards the affected creatures long rests for that day. You do not regain the spell slot expended to cast this, and are unable to cast this again until you finish a long rest.
