The College of Juggling

We've all heard of handsome young bards sweeping women off their feet with their sensual music, or performing amazing feats of acrobatics, or mystifying a whole tavern with his swinging voice. But what about the unsung performer? The man who puts his life and his career on the line each time he performs? The man who casually tosses several blades in the air and manages to catch them all without losing a finger? I'm speaking of course about the noble juggler.

Juggling

Beginning at 3rd level weapons thrown by you will return automatically, in addition to that a creature has a Bardic Inspiration die from you can roll that die and add twice the number rolled to the damage roll of a thrown weapon.

Ambidextrous

Beginning at 3rd level when using your bonus action to throw a weapon you may add your ability modifier to the attack and damage of the weapon. In addition to that you may draw or store an additional thrown weapon in a single action.

Juggling Spheres

Beginning at 6th level you may create a number of Juggling Spheres, spheres of bardic magic that carry interesting power. As a 10 minute ritual after completing a short or long rest you may create up to 3 Juggling Spheres that will last until your next short or long rest by expending a bardic inspiration die. These spheres have a range of 20/60 feet and can only be used a thrown weapon. You may throw up to 3 spheres in a single attack action but each sphere thrown after the first is subject to a performance check of DC 15 + 5. The spheres have the following effects.

Juggling spheres may be used to administer ranged spell attacks when using a juggling sphere you may add your Charisma bonus or your Dexterity bonus.

If you use Juggling Spheres to administer a spell attack they will also deal 1d4 + Charisma modifier damage on top of the spell’s effect. In instances where the the single spell requires multiple attacks, such as scorching ray, you need only make one attack.

As a bonus action you may combine three juggling spheres into one large juggling sphere, this cube will deal 1d6 damage and bounce. When you make an attack action and choose a target you may select up to 2 additional targets within 15ft of him. If your attack is successful the large juggling will bounce off the initial target and deal damage to the other 2. If this ability is used to make a ranged spell attack it will affect all targets that are hit without expending an additional spell slot.

Shared Juggling

Beginning at 14th level whenever someone makes a ranged attack or ranged spell attack against you, as a reaction, you may attempt to add that weapon or spell to your juggling act. You do this by making an opposing range or spell attack, and if yours is greater you may juggle the spell or weapon as though it was one of your juggling spheres. If you’re already juggling 3 spheres then you must drop one in order to do this. You may choose to throw it, by making a ranged spell attack or ranged attack, during your next turn. If you do not the spell will dissipate but the weapon will remain as part of your juggle unless you’re already juggling 3 spheres, in which case it will be dropped.
