Way of the Oni's Drum

Meditating on the balance of one’s body, opening the demon gate between you and your inner Oni, and harmonizing in the middle of the energies creates a thunderous reaction. Quakes enhanced by the unstable nature of this ki blast through your strikes for devastating results. The heavy weight of the blast on your stikes creates a natural melody akin to a rolling thunder storm.

Carnal Rage

When you study this way at 3rd level, focusing the burst of force coming from your strikes creates a quick crack of sound to additionally pummel youremies. When you use Flurry of Blows, add 2 thunder damage to each attack. This damage increases to 4 at 11th level and 6 at 17th level.

Bombastic Follow Up

Reaching 6th level allows you to hold and release increasingly large burst of power. Spend between 1 and 3 ki points after you land a melee attack to determine the effect:

  • 1: Add 2d6 Thunder damage to the attack.
  • 2: Add 2d4 Thunder damage to the attack, and if you hold concentration until your next turn deal 2d4 thunder damage to everyone in a 10 foot cone in front of you.
  • 3: Add 1d8 Thunder damage to the attack, if you hold concentration until your next turn deal 1d8 thunder damage to everyone in a 10 foot cone in front of you, and if you hold your concentration until the turn after that deal 1d8 Thunder damage to everyone in a 20 foot cone in front of you.

Another action can not be used again until the entire effect of Bombastic Follow Up has been resolved.

Sonic Rush

At 11th level, your focus and precision of mind helps you maneuver yourself around the battlefield to make sure your large scale attacks land. Add 5 feet to your movement when concentrating on Bombastic Follow Up.

Ox Tiger Gate Breaker

The full scale of the Oni's influence creates a devastating berserker state that only the strongest can pull themselves out of. Choose how your drive manifest when you gain this feature at level 17:

  • Ox: When an enemy is hit by multiple waves of a Boombastic Follow Up, have them make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your Proficiency bonus + your Wisdom modifier) and fall prone if they fail.
  • Tiger: When a enemy is hit by multiple Flurry of Blows hits in one turn, have them take 1d8 Thunder damage for each additional hit after the first at the beginning of their turn. Credit: Spellsword95
