Cleric Domain: Undeath

The domain of undeath represents perversion of the natural order, the purview of gods and deities who preside over the twisting of life into vile fascimile and horrid mockeries. As a cleric of undeath, you gain an innate mastery over the damned masses far beyond even that of your ecclesiastical peers or devout necromancers of specialty. With only a modicum of effort you can bend the will of the fallen to your own dark designs, acting as a grim puppeteer of flesh and souls.

Initiate of Undeath

When you choose this domain at 1st level, you learn the chill touch and toll the dead cantrips if you do not already know them. Your casting ability for these cantrips is Wisdom and they count as cleric spells for you.

Grave Servants

At 1st level you gain the ability to raise servants from the dead. As an action, you can expend a cleric spell slot. If you do, for each level of that spell slot, you can animate a Small or larger corpse you can see within 30 feet as a zombie or skeleton (your choice). This undead lasts for one hour, until you dismiss it as a bonus action, or you use this feature again. When the effect ends, or the undead is reduced to 0 hit points, it disintegrates into fine dust.

A undead created in this way is friendly to you and your companions, obey mental commands that you issue to it (no action required), rolls its own initiative and takes its own turns. If you don't issue any commands to it, it defends itself from hostile creatures but otherwise takes no actions.

Channel Divinity: Rebuke Undead

At 2nd level, you can demand supplication from the cursed undead.

Each undead creature within 30 feet of you that can hear or see you must make a Wisdom saving throw. If the target fails its saving throw, it is charmed by you and those you designate as allies for 1 minute, until you dismiss the effect as a bonus action, or it takes damage from a creature it's charmed by. You can then issue it one order among those featured in the command spell. This effect ignores immunity to the charmed condition unless the target is also immune to turning.

If a target that would be destroyed by your Turn Undead Channel Divinity, it obeys your mental commands while charmed in this way (no action required).

Channel Divinity: Chosen of Undeath

At 6th level, you gain the ability to animate a powerful champion of undeath to serve you.

When you use your Grave Servants feature you can use this Channel Divinity (no action required). If you do, Grave Servants creates one indentured spirit in the space of a corpse you can see within 30 feet of you instead of animating zombies or skeletons.

For each level of the spell slot expended by that use of your Grave Servants feature, that undead gains 5 temporary hit points and a +1 bonus to its attack rolls, damage rolls, ability checks and saving throws.

Powerful Spellcasting

At 8th level, you add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.

Harbinger of Undeath

At 17th level, your divine power over undeath reaches its terrible apex.

Undead you create with a cleric spell gain temporary hit points equal to your cleric level, and deal extra damage with their weapon attacks equal to half your cleric level.

Furthermore, you add create undead, finger of death, abi-dalzim's horrid wilting, and power word kill to your list of domain spells. Like your other domain spells, they are always prepared and count as cleric spells for you.
