Callused Archetype

In war, the soldier who returns is the winner above all. By your unwieldy endurance, the Callused fighter can withstand attacks that would put most others deep within their grave. Your enemies will soon understand why a constant lumbering force should be feared more than quick blast that are just as quickly snuffed.

Thickened Hide

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level, your resilience is backed by your naturally increased heartiness. Your HP maximum increases by 3 and increases by 1 again everytime you gain a level in this class.

Additionally, once per long rest add your Constitution modifier to a use of Second Wind.

Aegis of Resilience

Beginning at 7th level, you learn to push yourself farther and farther when there are those in need of protection. For every ally who can see or hear you when you use your Action Surge (maximum of 5), add 1 to your AC until the beginning of your next turn.

Volatile Fixation

Even if you're the epitome of defense, you can still know when it is beneficial to step into an exposed position for a blindsiding attack. At 10th level, when you take the attack action you can choose to sacrifice up to 5 AC for an extra 2 damage per AC sacrificed.

Momentum Shift

Reaching 15th level allows you to begin to shift the most desperate battles back into your favor. When you are under half health, gain HP equal to your Constitution modifier for the first attack you land each turn.

Additionally, when under half health add your Constitution modifier to any Dexterity saving throw you make.

Veterans Knowledge

At 18th level, your innate intuition of battle has unlocked a certain technique that you use when situations become to frantic. Choose one of the following options:

• After being hit for the first time in a round, add your Constitution modifier to your AC until the beginning of your turn
• The first enemy you successfully attack on your turn has disadvantage attacking anyone else but you and your allies have advantage melee attacking that target.
• Add 3d10 to a critical hit.
