Castle Ravenhold
A light in dark times, Ravenhold is a formidable bastion that holds back the darkness that threatens us all. Situated atop a hill, protected by rock faces on all sides, the high walls and battlements of the castle have never been taken, and have flown the banners of the Barony of Ravenhold since it was built over a century ago.
Law and Customs
The people of the barony live in nearly a dozen holdfasts ranging from three to twenty families. The Barony of Ravenhold follows fuedal law. Allegiance to the baron for those whom deem to be his subjects is strictly adhered to under pain of hanging or maiming.
Tiefling Restriction Tieflings may be permitted at discretion of the Baron. All tieflings are to report straight to Castle Ravenhold upon entering the barony. Outlaws will be hanged.
Hunting Ban The grounds outside the castle within a day's ride are reserved for the Baron and the Rangers of Ravenhold. Punishable by hanging.
Road Toll & Docking Fees A toll is levied against travelers for use of the barony's roads and docks. 2sp per traveler and 2gp per ship.

Inn of the Clipped Raven
Inn of the Clipped Raven provides a comfortable rest to travellers of the Haven Road. Whether you're trekking to the City of Haven, the Underkingdom of Razor, or the Kingdom of Pax, Inn of the Clipped Raven is conveniently located near the crossroads between the three major locales of Great Maw Island.
The Inn is famous for its unique spin on shepards pie, and brown ale. The staff of the inn labour tirelessly gathering the ingredients needed for their signature fare - no easy task in this dark world.

The renown Ravenhold Rangers brave the wilderness and keep a vigilant watch on the barony. They protect homesteads, deliver messages, and sell survival gear.

The Castle
Seat of Baron Oswald of Ravenhold and his court. Unless on some errand, the baron can be found presiding over his court throughout the day. The court is open to all who have business with the Baron and his council. Bounties and payments for services are also issued here.
Baron Oswald the Old of Ravenhold
Oswald is a noblemen and longstanding ruler of the Barony of Ravenhold, and a vassal of Haven. The baron is a former adventurer who enjoys the fruits of his youthful labours within his formidable castle. Despite being retired, when his fief is under threat, he does not hesitate to don his armour and venture out into battle
Castle Ravenhold
In addition to being the court of Ravenhold's baron, Castle Ravenhold offers some select services to travelers.
Rooms The castle offers spacious rooms for descerning travelers and dignitaries for 2gp a night.
Bread & Forage Porridge A hearty meal of warm bread and porridge with nuts and berries is served daily in the castle kitchens, for 8sp.

Mission Board
On a board at the castle's well, which serves as a meeting grounds of sorts to the denizens of the castle, a board displays news and jobs for adventurers.
Highwaymen Wanted
Highwaymen have been plaguing the Haven Road as Founders Day approaches in the city. The Baron, desiring to safeguard trade and travel, will pay 10gp for every dead bandit, with an additional 20gp for any captives.
Bear Threatens Holdfasts
A holdfast has been attacked by a large bear. One man is missing and a score of livestock have been butchered by the beast. The baron will pay handsomly to any who aid the rangers in slaying the predator, with 100gp awarded to the man who brings in the head.
