Additional Proficiencies

At 3rd level, you begin your training in occult arts. You gain proficiency in one of the following skills: Arcana, History, Investigation, Nature, or Religion. Alternatively, you may learn a language of your choice.

Prophetic Boon

By 3rd level, you gain a preternatural divination ability to aid you in combat. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled.

You can replace any attack roll, ability check or saving throw you make with one of these prophetic rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn. Each prophetic roll can be used only once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.

At 7th and 15th level, you gain an additional prophetic roll.

Etched Skin

Starting at 7th level, you are able to inscribe magical runes on your flesh that provide you with protection and magical skills. As an action, you can gain a base AC of 14 + your Constitution modifier if you aren’t wearing armor. This effect lasts until you end it as a bonus action, or you don armor other than a shield.

Additionally, you may cast identify, comprehend languages and augury as a ritual, without requiring material components. Once you cast a spell this way, you cannot cast that spell again until you finish a long rest.

Danger Wards

By 10th level, your runes react to safeguard you from danger. The AC granted by your Etched Skin feature increases by +1.

Additionally, if you would roll initiative and have no prophetic rolls remaining, you may roll an additional prophetic roll. When combat ends, it is lost if it is left unused.

Runic Strike

Starting at 15th level, you are able to empower your weapons to unlock untold strength. Once during each of your turns, you can deal an additional 1d20 force damage to one creature you hit with a weapon attack. You may replace this damage roll with one of your prophetic rolls.

Twist Fate

By 18th level, your ability to sculpt destiny becomes unparalleled. You have advantage on prophetic rolls.
