Warden Conclave

Every Ranger is comfortable in the wilderness, but some Rangers are more closely tied to civilization than others. Members of the Warden conclave are the primary defenders of those towns and forts on the edge of wild. Whether by patrolling the borderlands and guarding them against interlopers or by acting as frontier law enforcement, Rangers of the Warden Conclave focus their training on the ability to act as a first line of defense for their people.

Vigilance Against Interlopers

Beginning when you choose this archetype at 3rd level, you've learned to watch for the little cues and twitches that signal an opponent's intentions before they act. When a creature you can see within 5 feet of you attacks you or a friendly creature, you may use your reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll.

Additionally, when you use this feature, if your target misses its attack roll by 5 or more, you can make an opportunity attack as part of your reaction.

Extra Attack

Beginning at 5th level, you can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn.

Vanguard

Starting at 7th level, being the first line of defense has forced you to learn some clever combat tactics to hold the line. If you do not move on your turn and aren't wearing heavy armor, you may take the Dodge action as a bonus action.

Frontier Justice

Starting at 11th level, your enemies cannot be allowed to escape and strike again. When you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, the creature takes an additional 1d6 damage.

Additionally, when you hit a creature with an opportunity attack, you can immediately make a shove attempt against that creature as part of your reaction.

Never Surrender

At 15th level, your determination allows you to push your body beyond all reason. It must, because you know the people need you. When you are reduced to 0 hit points but do not die outright, you can make a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw. If you succeed, you drop to 1 hit point instead.

Each time you use this feature, the DC increases by 5. When you finish a short or long rest, the DC resets to 10.

Additionally, when you are incapacitated, you automatically succeed on your first death saving throw.
