Rogue - Brigand

Brigand

Many rogues are masters of infiltration, sneaking along, an unseen blade looking for the silent kill. You are not one of these people. You are the man those people call when someone needs a door kicked down, not picked. You have focused your training on a more brute force approach. Whether breaking limbs, strangling a man in a chokehold, or terrifying them with threats of what will happen if they don't settle their debts; you always get the job done.

Bonus Proficiencies

When you choose this archetype at 3rd level you gain proficiency in medium armor.

Your damage die for unarmed attacks is now a d4.

In addition when you deal damage with a club treat its damage die as a d6.

Enforcer

Starting at 3rd level, in addition to finesse and ranged weapons, you may deal Sneak Attack damage when attacking with a club or an unarmed strike.

In addition, you may use your Sneak Attack feature if you are attacking a target grappled by you with a club or unarmed strikes. All the other rules for the Sneak Attack class feature still apply to you.

You may use your Cunning Action to make a single Attack, and may only use this Attack to attempt a Grapple Check.

Brutish Visage

Beginning at 9th level you gain proficiency in the Intimidate skill if you do not already have it.

You have advantage on Charisma (Intimidate) checks against targets you are grappling.

Dirty Fighting

You've learned to take every advantage in a fight, breaking bones and joints to impair your enemies ability to fight.

When you reach 13th level, any time you deal Sneak Attack Damage using a melee weapon, you may reduce the extra damage dealt by 2d6 to target a specific location on the targets body. You gain an additional effect based on where you target. For each effect the DC = 8 + your proficieny bonus + your Strength modifier.

  • Eyes The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or become blinded until the end of your next turn. The target may end the blinded condition on its turn as an action.

  • Arms The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw or during its next turn if it uses its action to attack, it may only make a single attack.

  • Hands The target must succeed on a Strength saving throw, or immediately drop an object or weapon of your choice it is currently holding.

  • Gut The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw or may only take one action (Action or bonus) or move during its next turn.

  • Knees The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw or fall prone.

You may use this feature a number of times equal to your Strength modifier before completing a long rest.

Chokehold

Starting at 17th level, if you are currently grappling a target, you may as an action make another grapple check against the target. If you succeed the target becomes restrained by you. The target cannot speak while being restrained in this manner.

At the end of the target's turn during which it was restrained using this feature, the target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength modifier) or fall unconcious. The target remains unconcious until it takes damage, a creature uses an action to wake it, or 1 minute passes.
