Full Casters on Short Rest Refresh

Rather than having to ration their full allotment of spell slots after each long rest, full casters in a party or campaign geared toward short rests may find more ease and utility in regaining a small complement of spell slots after each short rest, as their Warlock ally does.

After each long rest, a caster arises with the number of spell slots listed under the "long rest" section of the table for their caster level. After each short rest, they gain a smaller number of low level spell slots as indicated under the "short rest" section of the table. After two short rests (the presumed default for an adventuring day as seen on page 84 of the DMG) a caster will have received the exact spell slots they would have following the PHB (save for levels 1 and 2 where they would have lagged noticeably behind Warlocks).

The Arcane/Natural Recovery feature of Wizards and Druids is now used after each long rest, rather than once per long rest after a short rest, starting at third level, as all full casters have already been given a solid boost at first and second level.
