Way of the Shambali

Followers of the Way of the Shambali are those who have accepted the teaching of the IRIS, the idea that all are all equal under the gaze of the natural harmony in the universe. Monks of the Shambali believe in peace and harmony among all beings and that they must accept and live with both the harmonious and discordious halves of nature in order to achieve true tranquility. These monks are often traveling teachers and sages, and learn to manifest their spirituality in order to combat those who would disrupt the harmony of the world.

Orbs of Destruction

Starting when you take this archetype at 3rd level, you've learned to crystalize your spiritual energy into a special kind of Ioun stone called an Orb of Destruction. You can take a bonus action to summon a number of orbs equal to your wisdom modifier. These orbs float in a ring around your neck and are stylyzed with markings and artworks of your choosing. Whenever you would an unarmed attack you may instead make a ranged spell attack with one of the Orbs with a range of 30 feet. On a hit, the target takes bludgeoning damage equal to your Martial Arts die + your wisdom modifier. Hit or miss, the orb vanishes. The orbs stay summoned until they are used or you complete a short or long rest.

Orbs of Harmony and Discord

Starting at 6th level, your meditations on harmony and discord allow you to manifest these conditions in other creatures. As an action you may expend 2 ki points to attach an orb of Harmony or Discord to any one creature within sight, with a max of range of 30ft, for up to one minute. Only one orb of Harmony and one orb of Discord may be active at any time. You may transfer the orbs to any other target using 1 ki point as an action but doing so does not count as recasting for purposes of the time limit. The orbs only exist as long as you maintain line of sight. If the creature would ever disappear from sight, you would fall unconcious, the target falls unconcsious or dead, or the target would enter an anti-magic field or similiar effect, the orbs are dispelled and you must recast the orbs using ki points.

Orb of Discord

A creature targeted by the Orb of Discord must make a wisdom saving throw to avoid being affected. On a failure, the dark purple orb floats above the enemy marking them with Discord, manifesting all of their doubt and conflict within. All attacks made on a target target with an Orb of Discord are at advantage

Orb of Harmony

A creature targeted with a Orb of Harmony may make a wisdom saving throw to avoid the effects. The target is marked with a orb glowing with bright golden light that manifests spirtual harmony within them. A creature marked with an orb of harmony gains Temporary hit points equal to your monk level at the start of each of their turns.

Harmonious Movement

Starting at 11th level, you may cross your legs and engage in a medatative posture. Doing so allows you to levitate 5 feet in the air for as long as you maintain consciousness. This renders you immune to floor based traps and hazardous or rough terrain, however any terrain that would reach you such as fire or foliage is still considered hazardous or rough. Additionally, as long as you maintain this floating, you may travel for twice as long without suffering exhaustion. This feature works in conjuction with the monk's unarmored movement feature, allowing you to float across water or up walls equal to your movement speed. The levitation only works 5 feet from a solid surface, if you would end your turn above a liquid or gas, you sink or fall normally.

Experience Tranquility

Starting 17th level, you may expend 5 ki points as a reaction after being hit but before damage is applied, or or bonus action on your turn, to enter a state of true spiritual tranquility. Whenever you use this feature, you become resistant to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing, or slashing damage, your movement speed is doubled, and you heal all targets of your choosing withing a 30 foot radois on their turns for 3d8+ your wisdom modifier on each of your turns and on their turns until the end of your next turn. While you are in this state, you may not take any attack actions, use ki points to make attack actions, cast spells, or make attacks of opportunity. Once you use this feature you may not use it again until you complete a long rest.
