\page # House Rules ##### Feat Changes The Dual Weilder feat also grants the Two-Weapon Fighting style. The following feature replaces the -5 to hit for +10 to damage trade-off feature of the Sharpshooter and Great Weapon Master feats: While you don't have disadvantage on an attack roll, you can gain disadvantage to hit, and then you gain advantage on the damage roll if you still hit. ##### Intelligent Warlocks Warlocks may use Intelligence, rather than Charisma for all class features that rely on Charisma (Including multiclassing prerequisites). This is an opt-in rule, so a player that wants to play a traditional Charisma-based warlock can, but those who want to play someone who researched the forces beyond the veil of reality, and gained their powers in this manner can back up this fluff with the crunch of using Intelligence as the primary stat of their warlock character. ##### Meatgrinder Death Rules When you need to make a Death saving throw, the DC for the check is 15, rather than 10. Characters who have 3 or more levels in the Warlock class ignore this rule -- their Death save DC is 10, as normal. ##### Powerful Build is Actually Useful If you have the Powerful Build trait, you can use a weapon with the versatile property in one hand and still use the two handed damage. ##### Soul's Second Chance In the world of Void Beyond the Stars, many powerful entities attempt to aquire servants by offering the newly deceased a second chance at life in return for service. When a character dies, so long as they have no levels in warlock, warlock patrons of all sorts vie for their service. A character can choose to accept one of the many deals thrown their way, returning to life in 1d4 rounds, at half their hit point maximum. In return for this second chance at life, the character *must* take their next level in the warlock class, with a patron of their choice. A character must possess the stats required to multiclass into warlock if they wish to take advantage of Soul's Second Chance. ##### Super Critical Hits When you perform a critical hit, you roll an unmodified d20. If the number of the d20 is greater than the AC of what you just critted, then you deal three lots of weapon damage rather than two lots, so for example, instead of critting and dealing 2d8 + 4 damage, you'd deal 3d8 + 4 damage if you hit the creature's AC with the unmodified roll. If the unmodified d20 is a natural 20, you maximise one set of those dice, so in the prior example, you'd deal 2d8 + 12 damage. ``` ``` ##### World Building Together Every so often, the DM may choose to ask the players to answer a question or prompt about the world (The prompt in the recruiting post being one such example - Name a settlement (and in turn its patron dragon) and the type of dragon that founded it) which all players should try to provide a reasonable answer to (using the previous prompt, one answer might be "The town of Caurrinvorx is protected by a Silver dragon"). Any answer provided should follow any established facts of the world (Again, using the previous prompt, The name of a settlement is the name of the dragon who founded it and protects it). When posing these prompts and questions, the DM will generally remind the players of relevant esablished facts.

\page # Player Races ## Starfolk > **Starfolk** are a race who came down with the stars, though they started arriving a month after the stars started falling. Their non-sentient kin, the Starbeasts, were quicker to arrive on the planet. The collective term for Starbeasts and Starfolk is *Starkin*. > > Starfolk are very rare. Starfolk are of roughly human stature, and seem to have innate skill with a gun. They struggle to communicate with the citizens of the world, since their more common starbeast kin are murderous, and so the citizens often attack them on sight, not knowing the differences between the differect Starkin. ### Racial Traits Your starfolk character shares traits that are common to all starfolk. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Dexterity score and Intelligence score increase by 1. One of them increases by a further 1 point. ***Age.*** Starfolk have only arrived on earth in the past month, and they age as stars do. At one point in space, they were part of a starfolk nebula. In theory, thousands of years from now, they might become Red Giant Starfolk, and eventually White Dwarf Starfolk. ***Alignment.*** Starfolk are often some degree of Neutral, as they have no concept of Good or Evil. ***Size.*** You are of a similar size to humans. Your size is Medium. ***Speed.*** Your base walking speed is 30 feet. ***Darkvision.*** Thanks to your origins, you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 120 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern colour in darkness, only shades of grey. ***Gun Expert.*** You can Aim at up to two creatures, rather than one as is usual for Aiming. ***Radiant Resilience.*** You are resistant to radiant damage. If you have no temporary hit points, and you would take radiant damage from an enemy, you gain 2d6 temporary hit points before taking the damage. This occurs an amount of times per short rest an amount of times equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum of once). The amount of temporary hit point you gain upon taking radiant damage increases by 1d6 when you reach level 5, level 9, level 13, and level 17. ***Unnatural Fortitude.*** You have 1d8 + Con hit points. The hit points you would gain from your class are instead temporary hit points that you gain at the end of each long rest (You must take average on all the dice from your class). If you gain an ability that increases your hit point maximum from a feature outside of your class, it applies to both the THP granted by this feature, and your actual hit points. Your hit points increase by 1d8 + con when you reach 5th level, 9th level, 13th level, and 17th level. ***Languages.*** You speak, read, and write Common and one language of your choice. > ***Unnatural Fortitude*** > >*This feature is rather complex, so here are three examples of it in use, each with multiple levels being shown.* ##### Example 1 Starfolk Fighter (Constitution 16) *Level 1:* 11 Hit points, 9 Temporary hit points *Level 5:* 19 Hit points, 45 Temporary hit points *Level 10:* 27 Hit points, 90 Temporary hit points If, at level 8, the fighter picks the Tough feat, level 10 will look like this instead: *Level 10:* 47 Hit points, 110 Temporary hit points ##### Example 2 Starfolk Wizard (Constitution 13) *Level 1:* 9 Hit points, 5 Temporary hit points *Level 5:* 15 Hit points, 25 Temporary hit points *Level 10:* 21 Hit points, 50 Temporary hit points If, at level 8, the wizard increases their constitution to 14, level 10 will look like this instead: *Level 10:* 24 Hit points, 60 Temporary hit points ##### Example 3 Starfolk Rogue (Constitution 14) *Level 1:* 10 Hit points, 7 Temporary hit points *Level 5:* 17 Hit points, 35 Temporary hit points *Level 10:* 24 Hit points, 70 Temporary hit points If, at level 8, the rogue increases their constitution to 16, and at level 10 takes the Tough feat, level 10 will look like this instead: *Level 10:* 47 Hit points, 100 Temporary hit points

## Aasimar ### Cursed Aasimar Some Aasimar are not as lucky as others, with luck constantly being crushed around them. Sometimes this plays into their favour, but more often than not, it causes them horrible problems. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Misfortune score increases by 1. ***Cursed.*** You have a seventh ability score: Misfortune. When you make an roll with advantage, you subtract your Misfortune modifier from the roll. ***Shroud of Misfortune.*** Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the cursed energy within yourself, causing your face to fall into shadow and a single ghostly, torn wing to sprout from your back. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, the light level decreases by 1 stage in a 10-foot radius, and all creatures in this shadow subract your Misfortune modifier from their attack rolls and saving throws, while you add it to yours. In addition, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra necrotic damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or spell. The extra necrotic damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. ``` ```

If you use the Cursed Aasimar, stat generation is as follows: Standard array adds an 11, point adds 3 points, or rolling, you roll 8 scores and drop the lowest.

### Fleetfoot Aasimar Some Aasimar are fast. These ones are faster. Tied to the messenger angels, Fleetfoot Aasimar are quick on their feet and quick to battle. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Dexterity score increases by 1. ***Fleet of Foot.*** Your base walking speed is 35 feet. ***Shroud of Speed.*** Starting at 3rd level, you can use your action to unleash the speed force within yourself, causing your features to blur as you move with incredible speed. Your transformation lasts for 1 minute or until you end it as a bonus action. During it, your base walking speed increases to 45 feet, and you may take the Dash action as a bonus action. In addition, once on each of your turns, you can deal extra radiant damage to one target when you deal damage to it with an attack or spell. The extra radiant damage equals your level. Once you use this trait, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.

\page ### Frostforged Dragonborn ***Spikes of Pain.*** As an action, you can reduce your hit point maximum by 1d10 to gain a 1d6 bonus to your attack rolls until the end of your next turn. This reduction to your hit point maximum lasts until the end of your next long rest. You can use this ability without resting between uses, but if you push yourself too hard, you may find yourself suffering… ### Hive Dragonborn ***Breath Weapon.*** You can use your action to exhale a swarm of the wasps that make their hive in your lungs – a symbiotic relationship. When you use your breath weapon, you create a *swarm of wasps* in an empty space within 5 feet of you. The swarm has 2d6 hit points, and returns to you if it is still alive at the end of combat. The hit points increase to 3d6 at 6th level, 4d6 at 11th level, and 5d6 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest. ### Orium Dragonborn ***Breath Weapon.*** You can use your action to exhale a 15-foot cone of Acid. When you use your breath weapon, each creature in the exhalation must make a Constitution saving throw. The DC for this saving throw equals 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus. A creature takes 2d4 damage on a failed save, and half as much on a successful one. The damage increases to 3d4 at 6th level, 4d4 at 11th level, and 5d4 at 16th level. After you use your breath weapon, you can’t use it again until you complete a short or long rest. In addition, when you use your breath weapon, you create a Vaporous Serpent in an unoccupied space within the range of your breath weapon. ## Dwarf ### Frost Dwarf The Dragonfrost is a realm of bitter cold, unforgiving to those who are unprepared. This lesson was learned millenia ago by the Dwarves who migrated there. After a few generations, their appearance became like that of a frost giant – a sign that they had completely adapted to their new home. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Intelligence score increases by 1. ***Superior Darkvision.*** Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet. ***Acclimated to Frost.*** You have resistance to cold damage, and are also naturally adapted to cold climates, as described in chapter 5 of the *Dungeon Master’s Guide*. ***Frost Dwarf Magic.*** You know the *chill touch* cantrip. When you reach 3rd level, you can also cast the *obscuring mist* spell once with this trait and regain the ability to do so when you finish a long rest. Intelligence is your spellcasting ability for these spells. ``` ``` ### Volcano Dwarf The Volcano Dwarves make their homes in volcanos rather than more traditional mountains. They use the magma found there to forge their weapons, to rejuvenate, and for many other purposes. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Wisdom score increases by 1. ***Volcanic Rejuvenation.*** You are immune to fire damage. Whenever you would take fire damage, you can instead spend your reaction and a hit die to recover an amount of hit points equal to the amount you roll + your Constitution modifier. ## Elf ### Clockwork Elf The Clockwork Empire of Jaivig is home to a very unusual group of elves. As they grow up, they turn themselves into clockwork cyborgs, replacing parts of their bodies with clockwork inventions. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Intelligence score increases by 1. ***Clockwork Enhancements.*** Choose two of the following features: - ***Superior Darkvision.*** Your darkvision has a radius of 120 feet. - ***Resilient Frame.*** While unarmoured, you reduce bludgeoning, piercing, and slashing damage that you take by an amount equal to half your proficiency bonus. - ***Weaponised Limb.*** One of your limbs – a hand or a foot – can be used effectively as a weapon. This weapon deals 1d6 damage of a type you choose when you create the character (Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage) and has the finesse property. - ***Momentum Boosters.*** Your base walking speed increases to 35 feet, and you can add your proficiency bonus to your initiative. - ***Clockwork Flight.*** You gain a flying speed equal to half your walking speed. ***Elf Weapon Training.*** You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow.

\page ### Cloud Elf The Cloud Elves are a particularly reclusive variety of elf, living in the Sky Cities, one of 8 renovated Cloud Giant castles. They are ably to generate clouds from their feet, and are often seen barefoot, as these clouds can be used to float, and if the Cloud Elf is skilled enough, fly. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Charisma score increases by 1. ***Cloud Formation.*** While your feet are not touching the ground (this can be achieved by jumping), you can use a bonus action or a reaction to generate clouds at your feet. If you are falling, you are considered to have fallen half the distance you actually fell for the purpose of calculating fall damage. Starting at 3rd level, you gain a flight speed of 30 feet while you have these clouds at your feet. ***Elf Weapon Training.*** You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow. ### Crimson Elf The Crimson Elves are nomads, who wander everywhere, even the depths of the Underdark, where even Drow do not go. They are also skilled warriors, often fighting against incredible beasts. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Strength score increases by 1. ***Brute Strength.*** When you roll the maximum damage on a melee weapon attack, you can roll the dice once again and add that to the damage you deal. ***Elf Weapon Training.*** You have proficiency with the longsword, shortsword, shortbow, and longbow. ***Powerful Build.*** You count as one size larger when determining your carrying capacity and the weight you can push, drag, or lift. ## Genasi ### Ice Genasi As an Ice Genasi, you are descended from the Snow Genies, the Qorrash. As cold as your ancestors, you’re often distant from allies, and rarely make friends. Ice genasi typically have pale blue skin, and frost-coated hair. Their eyes are often cold and grey, occasionally stormy when angered. Sometimes, ice crystals form on their body. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Intelligence score increases by 1. ***Frost Resistance.*** You have resistance to cold damage. In addition, you suffer no ill effects from extremely cold climates. ***Icy Wrath.*** You know the *frostbite* and *ray of frost* cantrips. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells. ***Frigid Heart.*** You are immune to the charmed condition. ``` ``` ### Shadow Genasi As a Shadow Genasi, you are descended from the Shadow Genies, the Khayal. As secretive as your ancestors, you’re often scheming and deceiving, and rarely sleep. Shadow genasi typically have shadowy grey skin, and are often bald. Their eyes are often constantly hidden in shadow, and their colour unknown. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Intelligence or Charisma score increases by 1. ***Consummate Liar.*** You have proficiency in the Deception skill. ***Shadow Resistance.*** You have resistance to necrotic damage. ***Scheming Mind.*** Once per short rest, you can spend your Action and pick a creature you can see within 30 feet of you. You add your Intelligence modifier to all damage you deal against that creature. ### Storm Genasi As a Storm Genasi, you are descended from the Storm Genies. As changeable as the weather, your moods shift from calm to wild and violent with little warning, but these storms rarely last long. Storm genasi typically have pale purple skin, and silvery crystalline hair. Their eyes are often stormy and grey, occasionally flashing with lightning when angered. Sometimes, static electricity visibly runs across their body. Some storm genasi speak with voices marked by a deep reverb of thunder. ***Ability Score Increase.*** Your Charisma score increases by 1. ***Storm Resistance.*** You have resistance to either lightning or thunder damage. When you finish a short or long rest, you may change your choice. ***Promise of Storm.*** You know the *shocking grasp* and *thunderclap* cantrips. Constitution is your spellcasting ability for these spells. Once you reach 3rd level, you can promise a storm once with this trait, and you regain the ability to do this when you finish a long rest. Promising a storm is a bonus action, and when used, increases lightning and thunder damage you deal by 1d8 until the end of your next turn.

\page # Subclasses ## Druid Circle: Circle of the Vengeful Druids of the Circle of the Vengeful are fierce guardians of the wilds. Their order gathers under the new moon to share news and trade warnings. They haunt the deepest parts of the wilderness, where they might go for weeks on end before crossing paths with another humanoid creature, let alone another druid. The druidic avenger channels her inner fury to wreak vengeance upon those who injure the natural world. They are able to unleash incredible feats of strength. The wild is in the druid’s blood. #### Bonus Proficiencies When you choose this circle at 2nd level, you gain proficiency with martial weapons. #### Raging Thunder Starting when you choose this circle at 2nd level, you can expend a use of wildshape to instead enter a rage, as a barbarian, gaining the same benefits of the Rage feature as a barbarian of half your level. In addition, your movement speed increases by 10 feet, even while you aren't raging. #### Unarmoured Defence Beginning at 2nd level, while you are not wearing any armor, your Armor Class equals 10 + your Dexterity modifier + your Wisdom modifier. You can use a shield and still gain this benefit. #### Unarmoured Offense Starting at 6th level, you can attack twice, rather than once whenever you take the Attack option on your turn, so long as you are wearing no armour. #### Vicious Counterattack Starting at 10th level, when you are hit by a melee attack, you can spend your reaction to make a melee attack against the attacking creature. If you are raging, you gain advantage on this attack. #### Spirit of Rage Starting at 14th level, while you are raging, you gain the following benefits, in addition to those granted by the base feature: - Your unarmed strikes do 2d6 slashing damage. - As a bonus action, you can spend a spell slot to do one of the following things: - Gain a bonus to your next attack roll equal to the level of the spell slot expended. - Gain 1d8 temperary hit points per level of the spell slot expended. - Increase your Armour Class by an amount equal to half the level of the spell slot (rounded down) until the start of your next turn. ``` ``` ## Otherworldly Patron: Lord of the Depths Your patron is a great and powerful creature from the depths of the oceans, a place so inhospitable that no person would want to visit. Perhaps it is a kraken or powerful underwater dragon. Regardless, you hear its whispers on the ocean breeze and have gained its favour. Most warlocks of the depths are saved from death in the ocean in exchange for service, however others make their pacts through rituals or other methods. #### Expanded Spell List The Lord of the Depths lets you pick from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### Lord of the Depths Expanded Spells | Spell Level | Spells | |:---:|:-------------| | 1st | *Create or Destroy Water*, *Ray of Sickness* | | 2nd | *Gust of Wind, Moonbeam* | | 3rd | *Call Lightning, Water Breathing* | | 4th | *Control Water, Evard's Black Tentacles* | | 5th | *Cone of Cold, Contagion* | #### Embrace of the Depths Starting at 1st level, your patron bestows upon you the strength of the depths, and you gain a swim speed of 30 feet. In addition to this, you have orbs of water that orbit around you called droplets. You have a number of droplets equal to your Charisma modifier (a minimum of 1). As an action, you can cause one or more droplets to pop into a splash of dark water. When you do this, your recover hit points equal to 1d4 + your warlock level for each droplet expended. You regain all expended droplets at the end of a short or long rest. #### Burst of Water Beginning at 6th level, you are able to create and manipulate dark waters quickly. When a creature makes a melee weapon attack against you, you can use your reaction to splash their eyes with one of your droplets. The creature must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC = your warlock spell save DC), taking 1d4 + your warlock level in acid damage and becoming blinded until the beginning of their next turn on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful save. Using this feature expends one of your droplets.

\page #### Fearless When you reach 10th level, you have gazed into the abyss for so long that fear is something you crave and enjoy. You are immune to the frightened condition, and when another creature attempts to inflict it upon you, you gain advantage on all attack rolls you make against that creature before the end of your next turn. In addition, you can use your reaction to move up to your speed when a creature attempts to inflict the frightened condition upon you, but you must end your movement closer to the creature than when you started. #### Summon the Depths Beginning at 14th level, you can channel the depths of the ocean to your current location. As an action, you cause a 60-foot sphere centred on you to become dark and deep blue for 1 minute. When you do so, all of your droplets are recovered. Creatures within the area can feel water flowing around them, and the weight of the water above pushing down on them. Phantasmal images of sharks and other horrific creatures of the depths float around within the area, while the face of your patron floats overhead. Flying creatures find themselves floating harmlessly to the ground, as the area prevents flight. However, a creature can fly around the area if they have a swim speed. A creature that enters the sphere for the first time in the round or starts its turn there must make a Charisma saving throw. On a failed save, its mind is broken by the depths and your patron. The creature has disadvantage on any attack roll against you, and you have advantage on any saving throw from an effect caused by the creature. On a successful save, the creature is unaffected and immune to this effect of your sphere for the next 24 hours. You can use an action to burrow into the mind of a creature who has failed its saving throw against the mind-crushing effect of the sphere. You can listen to its current thoughts and choose to feel its emotions. You don't need to share a language with the creature to understand its thoughts, but the creature must be able to understand at least one language. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

### Weapon Special Properties. ***Claws.*** If you have a claw in each hand, and hit a creature with a claw, subsequent claw attacks in the same turn deal 1d8 damage, rather than 1d6. Instead, if you want to add your proficiency bonus to the attack roll of an attack made with a firearm, you need to be Aiming, which you can achieve by taking the Aim bonus action. When you take the Aim bonus action, pick a creature you can see. Until you lose line of sight, attack a creature other than the creature you chose, or you take the Aim bonus action again, you can add your proficiency bonus to attacks you make with firearms against that creature. A firearm that has a magazine attached (regardless of the size of the magazine) is often referred to by a different name. A **Pistol** becomes a **Revolver**, while a **Musket** becomes a **Rifle**.

\page # Feats ## Standard Feats ### Deadshot You have trained with firearms and have mastered their use, gaining the following benefits: - You no longer need to take the Aim bonus action to add your proficiency bonus to attack rolls with firearms. If you chose to take the Aim bonus action, you instead ggain advantage on your next attack roll made with a firearm. - In addition, when you roll the maximum result on the damage die for an attack made with a firearm, you may roll the die again and add it to the damage dealt. This bonus damage can occur only once per attack. ### Heroic Boost You have the ability to drastically alter your luck in dire circumstances. When you spend a hero point to alter the result of an attack roll, ability check, or saving throw, you roll a d8 instead of a d6, and add the result to the d20 roll. ### Resilient Serpent *Prerequisite: Orium Dragonborn* Your Vaporous Serpents have a number of hit points equl to the damage dealt by the Breath Weapon that summoned them, rather than 1 hit point. ### Clockwork Marvel *Prerequisite: Clockwork Elf* Having done extensive tinkering on your own body, you gain the following benefits: - Your Intelligence score increases by 1, to a maximum of 20. - You gain either an additional clockwork enhancement or an improvement to an exisiting one. - ***Superior Darkvision.*** Your darkvision has a radius of 150 feet. - ***Resilient Frame.*** You add 1 to your Armour Class while unarmoured. - ***Weaponised Limb.*** Your weaponised limb deals 1d8 damage, rather than 1d6. In addition, you can choose a second damage type that it is able to deal. - ***Momentum Boosters.*** Your base walking speed increases to 40 feet, and you can add one and a half (1.5) times your proficiency bonus to your initiative, rather than your normal proficiency bonus. - ***Clockwork Flight.*** Your flying speed now equals your walking speed. You can take this feat multiple times, picking new features each time you take it. If your Intelligence score is 20 or greater, you can substitute the bonus to Intelligence for another clockwork enhancement improvement. ``` ``` ## Tactical Feats ##### What is a Tactical Feat? Tactical feats are all about setting up combinations of action in sequence for a greater benefit. For the most part they require you to take an action and follow it up in a specific manner. In general, they give you three different options, such as new manoeuvres for you to take in combat. ### Combat Cloak Expert *Prerequisite: 15 Dexterity and Intelligence* You are adept at turning your cloak into a vital part of your combat repertoire. By twirling it about you, sweeping it over enemies, and using it to conceal your weapon, you can catch an opponent by surprise. You must wear a cloak in order to use the features of this feat. - ***Cloak Defence.*** You hold your cloak before your chest like a curtain, making it difficult for enemies to read your defensive moves. Your cloak grants you a +1 bonus to AC. If you take the Dodge action, your cloak's bonus improves to +2. - ***Cloaked Strike.*** You can use your cloak to hide a light weapon. To utilize this manoeuvre, on the first round you must move adjacent to an opponent while you do not have a weapon in either hand. On the second round, you make a Deception check contested by your foe's Insight check as you draw your weapon. If you win the contest, you you ignore your target's Dexterity bonus to AC or their shield bonus to AC (your choice) until the end of your current turn. - ***Whirling Cloak.*** You can attempt to use your cloak to confuse your opponent. As a bonus action after successfully striking an opponent in melee, make an attack roll with proficiency against that foe. If this attack hits, you whirl your cloak around them, temporarily ruining their defences. Your opponent cannot make opportunity attacks against a particular ally of your choice until the start of his next turn. ### Combat Panache *Prerequisite: 15 Charisma* Your glowing personality and sharp performance abilities allow you to navigate the battlefield on sheer chutzpah alone. While others rely on swords and armour, you use your cutting wit and ability to manipulate others. - ***Fortuitous Tumble.*** For a brief moment, you appear to let your guard down. As your foe swings at you, you slip out of the way, causing his attack to slam into one of his allies. By positioning yourself correctly and making yourself an appealing target, you dupe your foe into making a critical blunder. To use this manoeuvre, you must be successfully attacked by a foe. On your next turn, you can take a bonus action to make a Deception check contested by his Insight check. If you win the contest, you can take a reaction at the start of their next turn and designate a different target that is within its reach for its next melee attack.

\page - ***Play Dead.*** You crumple to the ground as if slain, luring your opponent into a false sense of security. As a reaction after you are hit for at least 10 points of damage by a single attack, you can attempt to play dead. You drop prone and make a Deception check contested by your attacker's (or any other relevant observer's) Insight check. If you with the constest, the observer assumes you are dead. If you subsequently rise and attack him in the same round, they lose their Dexterity bonus to AC against the first attack that you make. You can use this ability once per encounter. - ***Sneering Glower.*** With just the right mix of your intimidating presence and your martial talents, you strike such fear into your target that he has difficulty fighting you effectively. On your next turn after you deal at least 1 point of damage to your opponent, you can make an Intimidation check against him as a bonus action. If you succeed on this check, your foe takes a penalty on his attack rolls against you equal to your Charisma bonus. You can gain this benefit against only one foe at a time; it lasts for the duration of the encounter or until you switch targets. If you designate a new target for this ability (by attempting a new Intimidation check against a different creature), the previous target no longer takes the penalty on his attack rolls against you. Opponents that are immune to the frightened contition are immune to this manoeuvre. ### Reaping Talons *Prerequisite: 15 Dexterity or Strength, proficiency with Claws or Handaxes* When fighting with claws or handaxes, you can use a variety of combat options that maximize the benefits of wielding two weapons. - ***Focussed Assault.*** To use this option, you must take the Dodge action. You must also wield two claws or handaxes and move no more than 5 feet. Keep track of each opponent that attacks you after you take that action. On your next turn, as an action, you can make a single melee attack against each of the opponents that attacked you on the previous round. The enemies must still be within your reach to be attacked with this option. - ***Cornered Predator.*** To use this option, you must hit your foe with two attacks that each use either the handaxe or claw. On your next turn, you gain a +2 bonus on attack rolls against this foe for each opponent that can hit you with a melee attack. - ***Talon Shield.*** To use this option, you must hit the your foe with two attacks that each use one of the handaxe or claw. On your next turn, if you take the Dodge action, you gain a +2 bonus to AC against that foe.

Each orb hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. An orb deals 1d4 force damage to its target. The orbs all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several. **At higher levels.** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell increases the damage dealt by each orb; 1d6 for a 2nd-level slot, 1d8 for a 3rd-level slot, 1d10 for a 4th-level slot, 1d12 for a 5th-level slot, 2d6 for a 6th-level slot, 2d8 for a 7th-level slot, 2d10 for an 8th-level slot, or 2d12 for a 9th-level slot. #### Divine Missile *1st-level evocation* (Cleric) ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 120 feet - **Components:** V, S, M (*A holy symbol*) - **Duration:** Instantaneous You present your holy symbol, from which emerges a glowing mote of radiant energy, which flies towards a creature of your choice that you can see. If you are concentrating of the Orison of Power cantrip, you can expend any Orison Counters you have, each creating an additional mote of radiance. Each mote of radiance hits a creature of your choice that you can see within range. A mote of radiance deals 1d6 radiant damage to its target. The motes of radiance all strike simultaneously, and you can direct them to hit one creature or several. **At higher levels.** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the spell creates one more mote of radiance for each slot level above 1st. #### Obscuring Mist *1st-level conjuration* (Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard) ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Self (15 foot sphere) - **Components:** V, S - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 10 minutes A misty vapour arises around you to fill a 15-foot-radius sphere for the duration. The mist spreads around corners, but remains stationary, even if you move. A creature with darkvision is able to see five feet through the mist, but otherwise the area inside is considered heavily obscured. Nonmagical light cannot illuminate the area. A medium (or stronger) wind will disperse this mist over the course of 1d4 rounds. ``` ``` #### Orison of Power *Divination cantrip* (Cleric) ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** Nome - **Components:** V, M (a holy symbol) - **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute You pray to your god for more powerful magic. You gain an Orison Counter for the duration of this spell. While the spell is active, you can expend your action or bonus action, but only once per round, to gain another Orison Counter, up to a maximum number of Orison Counters equal to your proficiency bonus. Any unexpended Orison Counters are lost when the spell ends. #### Witherblight *Necromancy cantrip* (Sorcerer, Warlock, Wizard) ___ - **Casting Time:** 1 action - **Range:** 90 feet - **Components:** V - **Duration:** Instantaneous You unleash your pain towards the target, withering it at its core. The target must succeed on a Constitution saving throw. On a failure, the target takes 1d4 psychic damage, and the first time you take damage before the start of your next turn, the target takes necrotic damage equal to 1d4 + your spellcasting ability modifier. This spell’s damage increases when you reach higher levels. Both damage rolls are increased by 1d4 at 5th (2d4), 11th (3d4) and 17th (4d4) level.
