## Protoss

The protoss is a prideful wismadic faction. They are formidable in combat but more formidable psionic creatures. They tend to be peaceful but due to the sudden scourge of zerg suddenly appearing on their scopes they took up the liberty to purge them from the universe. Wherever the zerg are the protoss is too, they have taken a sworn duty to protect the natural order of all lives their way.
### Physical Description
The Protoss race are a slender race that normally would appear being weak and easy to break. They use their superior intellect and crafted armor that would fit them perfectly as shown in the picture to the right. Typically they have one set of golden armor that would suit them for life and replace the pieces as they are damaged. These armors are also typically chosen by the leader of the faction they represent. The dreads that they sport from the back of their heads keep them connected to a collective mind to share their memories and transfer their minds to machinery. They also do not breathe or eat. They instead gain energy from light, from the moons and suns that they encounter, which is the main reason for all the light they artificially create.
### Race's Society
The society of protoss is normally a nomadic peaceful race that gathers more knowledge from around the universe. They guard their knowledge and trade it as a sort of currency between other races. They don't see the point in a money system but instead decide who their leader is from either their intelligence or their charisma. The protoss treat each of their members with respect and normally try to show even the lowest of their members the greatest respect in knowing that even them will achieve something great. Their are few factions that are warlike that has a completely different view on how everything works and normally go to war with the main factions and disrupt the way of all protoss.

The protoss typically don't have a family name and don't have a concept of family.

### Race Traits
Your Race character shares the following traits with all other varieties of Race.
**Ability Score Increase.** Your Intelligence ability score increases by 1, your Wisdom ability score increases by 1, and your Strength ability score increases by 1.
**Age.** The protoss can live up to 1000 years but reaches maturity at the age of 75.
**Alignment.** Protoss is generally a Lawful Nuetral race that believes anything they do is for the protection of all. This can quickly change.
**Size.** Protoss are typically around 9ft in size. If using size use 7'0 + 2d12 in inches x 4 + 175 for weight.
**Speed.** Your base walking speed is 30ft.
**Psionic Presence.** Protoss are immune to charming effects to put them magically asleep. They also have advantage on all mental saving throws.
**Dark Vision.** you have superior vision in dark and dim conditions. You can see in dim light within 60 feet of you as if it were bright light, and in darkness as if it were dim light. You can’t discern color in darkness, only shades of gray.
**Shield.** You gain a shield that generates temporary hitpoints for you. But this halves your hit die. For example, if you are an Barbarian, you have 1d6 for hit points, and 1d6 for shield. The shield regenerates 1 point every 1 minute to its maximum of an shield.
**Languages.** You can speak, read, and write Common, and Khalani. The Protoss can only speak telepathically.
**Subraces.** Tal'Darim a warlike subrace that wish to subjugate any and all that rules by fear and power. Or the purifiers, the rebellious robotic subrace that seperated themselves from their masters that gained their own sentience.
#### Tal'Darim
The Tal'Darim are a warlike subrace. They specialize in war and bringing fear to any and all and in most cases are the nuisance to their own race. This subrace is constantly at war with most and are also constantly monitored in case they step out of line in public just so that the rest of the races can take action. Action being in most cases a swift and painless death.
**Ability score increase.** Your Charisma Ability Score increases by 2. But you lose the +1 benefit of intelligence.
**Presence.** The presence alone of a Tal'Darim member sparks Fear and resentment alone. Whenever you are within any settlement other then a Tal'Darim settlement you automatically have a bad reputation and the worse is always assumed of you.
**Soul Absorbance.** Whenever any creature dies within 10ft of you, you regain 1d4 shield, and 1d4 health.
#### Purifiers
The Purifiers Were originally created to substitute the warriors on the front lines. This was done so due to the low amount of protoss in the universe after certain wars were taken place. They were replicated using the memories of their fallen and in addition had transferred their knowledge quickly and even created multiple versions of their strongest warriors. Whenever any number of them are destroyed they rebuild their own and wipe their memory to avoid any and all conflictions they may have for the future.
**Ability score increase.** Your Wisdom and Strength ability score increases by 1. But your +1 to intelligence goes away.
**Reconstruction.** Whenever you are brought past 0 hitpoints you are able to stabilize yourself and bring yourself to 1 hitpoint with maximum shields. You are able to use this ability once a day.
**Connection.** The purifier race is able to gain certain bonus' when more then 1 is close to each other. Work with your DM and create a fun experiment using this.
