# Dragon-Hoard Guard Rogues: constantly scouting, plotting and attempting to relieve others of their wealth, though one manner or another, the ultimate prize for one would be to relieve a Dragon of their hoard, such a feat is a legendary goal for many. Is it any wonder that some dragons choose to employ some small few novice Rogues as guards? A Dragon-Hoard Guard is a rogue who has taken an offer from a Dragon, to become a guard of its hoard, to hunt down those that would choose to steal from it and sometimes, to help them expand upon their hoard. Such rogues are often paid exceptionally well and granted power beyond what they would normally have access to. The dangers of becoming one are often ignored because of the shear usefulness of the strength offered and granted to those that become a Dragon-Hoard Guard, after all who would mind becoming a Dragons thrall if they keep paying you such generous rewards. ### Dragon-Soul Guard Features #### Bonus Proficiencies When you pick this archetype at 3rd level you gain proficiency with your choice of two of insight, intimidation, investigation or perception, you also learn how to speak, read and write draconic. #### Auctioneer’s Eye Starting at 3rd level you may identify and equipment someone wields at a glance, as a bonus action you can make an intelligence (investigation) check against any piece of equipment you can see within 30 feet, if successful you can gleam the rough value of an object, and whether or not it is magical in nature.
