Nevertheless, some non-dragons take up the draconic cause, often through identifying with the other virtues of the god in question. Both Bahamut and Tiamat offer this domain, as do their Krynnish *alter ego*s Paladine and Takhisis, along with Sardior, Io, and the various greatwyrms often worshipped as dragon gods such as Aasterinian, Lendys, Tamara, Garyx, and Nathair Sgiathach. Outside of the Draconic “Pantheon”, deities that offer this domain include Apep of the fantasy-historical pantheons and the Earth Dragon of the *Greyhawk* setting. Additionally, while not clerics of gods *per se*, venerators of Eberron’s Progenitor Dragons and students of its Draconic Prophecy can use this domain as well. ##### Dragon Domain Spells | Cleric Level|Spells| |:--------:|:-----------:| | 1st |*cause fear, identify*| | 3rd |*alter self, dragon’s breath*| | 5th |*fear, incite greed* | | 7th |*charm monster, find greater steed**| | 9th |*reincarnate***, *summon draconic spirit*| | 11th |*Fizban’s platinum shield*| | 13th |*draconic transformation*| *Unless you gain this spell from another source, you can only summon a **dragonnel** (*Fizban’s Treasury of Dragons* pg. 190) with it. With the DM’s approval, casting the spell using a spell slot of 6th level or higher can cause the spell to summon a **wasteland dragonnel** (*Dragonlance: Shadow of the Dragon Queen* pg. 201). **When cast as a Domain Spell, this spell uses an alternate reincarnation table, found at the end of this subclass. #### Bonus Proficiencies Beginning at 1st level when you select this Domain, you gain proficiency in heavy armor, martial weapons, and the Perception skill. #### Dragon’s Blessing Also at 1st level, your connection with draconic divinity gives you the following benefits: - You can speak, read, and write Draconic. If you already know Draconic, you learn your choice of Celestial or Infernal. - Choose one kind of dragon from the Dragon’s Blessing table. This choice impacts further features in the Domain. \column : - You learn one cantrip as which deals damage of the type associated with the kind of dragon you chose from any spell list except the warlock class spell list. This cantrip is a cleric cantrip for you but doesn’t count against your number of cleric cantrips known. ##### Dragon’s Blessing | Dragon | Category |Damage Type| |:-------:|:--------:|:---------:| |Amethyst | Gem | Force | | Black | Chromatic| Acid | | Blue | Chromatic| Lightning | | Brass | Metallic | Fire | | Bronze | Metallic | Lighting | | Copper | Metallic | Acid | | Crystal | Gem | Radiant | | Emerald | Gem | Psychic | | Gold | Metallic | Fire | |Green |Chromatic | Poison | |Lunar |Cosmic | Cold | |Mercury | Metallic | Radiant | |Obsidian | Gem | Fire | |Purple (Deep)|Chromatic|Psychic | |Red | Chromatic| Fire | |Sapphire |Gem | Thunder | |Silver |Metallic | Cold | |Solar | Cosmic | Radiant | |Time |Cosmic | Force | |Topaz |Gem | Necrotic | |White |Chromatic | Cold | #### Channel Divinity: Dragonbreath Starting at 2nd level, as an action you can expend a use of your Channel Divinity to exhale destructive energy. The damage type is that of the dragon you chose in Dragon’s Blessing. #### Wyrm-Touched Starting at 6th level, you gain resistance to the damage type of the dragon type you chose in Dragon’s Blessings. If you already have resistance to that damage type, choose another damage type from the same category of dragon as the one you chose in Dragon’s Blessings. If you chose Green for your dragon type at 1st level, you also gain advantage on saving throws against poisons and the poisoned condition. Additionally, you gain darkvision out to a range of 60 feet.
