### Wheat Domain
Clerics of the Wheat Domain believe that only through agriculture - more specifically, staple grain crops - can people truly flourish, for in the face of starvation, art, culture, and even civilization itself would fall apart.
As such, they worship those that would create pockets of safety against the brutal savagery that they call Nature, from farmers to harvest gods, in turn gaining similar abilities to reshape the untamed wild.
| Cleric Level | Features |
| :-----------:|:----------------------------------------------------- |
| 1st | Bonus Cantrip, Domain Spells, Plough the Earth |
| 2nd | Channel Divinity: Explosive Harvest |
| 6th | Trench Walker |
| 8th | Potent Spellcasting |
| 17th | Verdant Mastery |
#### Bonus Cantrip
*1st-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
To farm is to hold dominion over the ground you walk. You learn the *mold earth* cantrip. It counts as a cleric spell for you, but does not count against your total number of cleric cantrips you know.
The cantrip can affect a larger area when you reach 5th level (10-foot cube), 11th level (15-foot cube), and 17th level (20-foot cube).
#### Domain Spells
*1st-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
You gain domain spells at the cleric levels listed in the Wheat Domain Spells table. See the Divine Domain class feature for how domain spells work.
| Cleric Level | Spells |
| :-----------:|:------------------------------------------------------ |
| 1st | *earth tremorXGtE, goodberry* |
| 3rd | *dust devilXGtE, earthbindXGtE* |
| 5th | *erupting earthXGtE, plant growth* |
| 7th | *freedom of movement, grasping vine* |
| 9th | *commune with nature, transmute rock* |
#### Plough the Earth
*1st-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
You gain the ability to till the land of your adversaries, preparing it for sowing.
Before a creature within 60 feet of you attacks a target that you can see, you can cause the ground underneath them to churn and loosen as a reaction, turning the area below and within 5 feet of them into difficult terrain until cleared, with each 5-foot-diameter portion requiring at least 1 minute to clear by hand.
The creature must then succeed on a Dexterity saving throw against your spell save DC or fall prone.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Wisdom modifier (a minimum of once). You regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
In addition, whenever you make a check involving agricultural practices, you can do so with advantage.

#### Channel Divinity: Explosive Harvest
*2nd-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
You can use your Channel Divinity to cause crops to grow at a rapid rate. As an action, you can command a contiguous area of earth that impedes movement within 60 feet of you to become filled with harvest crops, which have the following below effects.
***Conceal.*** Any number of 5-foot squares that you designate in the area grow especially thick with crops, causing the area to become heavily obscured. The crops in these locations reach up to 10 feet high.
***Entrap.*** Your crops attempt to lash down creatures of your choice within the area. They must succeed on a Strength saving throw or be restrained for 1 minute. An affected creature can use their action to repeat this saving throw, ending the effect on a success.
***Flatten.*** Any number of 5-foot squares that you designate in the area can be made to have their crops secure the ground below, removing any movement impediments originating there. Any additional effects remain.
#### Trench Walker
*6th-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
Nature holds no power over the lands that you till. You ignore the effects of any movement impediments that you create.
As a bonus action, you can also provide this benefit to a creature that you can see within 60 feet of you for 1 minute. The effect ends early if you select another target during this duration.
#### Potent Spellcasting
*8th-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
Your ability to bolster the potency of harvests extends to other magics. You add your Wisdom modifier to the damage you deal with any cleric cantrip.
#### Verdant Mastery
*17th-level Wheat Domain feature*
___
Plant life bends to your will effortlessly, letting you cast *grasping vine* without using your concentration or expending a spell slot a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
You can direct any number of these vines with the same bonus action, and can cause any creatures pulled by them to also fall prone. In addition, as an action you can move these vines up to 30 feet in any direction along the ground.
