## Bomb A bomb is a peculiar elemental creature. Born from the very chaos that makes up the elemental planes, bombs are manifestations of the careful balance between air, earth, fire, and water. They are usually bound to the elemental planes, but sometimes manifest on the prime material plane in places of extreme elements, such as volcanoes, stormy shores, ice tundras, or cavernous ravines. ***Minor Elementals.*** Bombs are relatively mindless elementals with few motives or goals. They exist purely to help maintain the balance of the elements, and very few develop any kind of personality. Those that do are typically looked to as a quasi-leader among groups of bombs. ***Explosive Nature.*** Bombs are most famous for their delicate existance. Being conjured into being by the very chaos of the different elements leaves them in a constant volatile state, prone to swelling in size until they explode themselves. Among groups of bombs, this can often become a chain reaction. ***Born of Necessity.*** A bomb is willed into being by the forces of the elemental planes each time a bomb is exploded. A new bomb will appear in whichever elemental plane has the smallest supply when necessary to maintain the balance of elements. Where they spawn can often be random, but generally centers around areas of particularly strong elemental forces within the plane. No one knows the total count of bombs in existance because they are so often exploding and reincarnating in other planes. ***Elemental Nature.*** A bomb doesn't require air, food, drink, or sleep.

For these bombs, their appearance typically shifts to represent that element and it takes on characteristics of that element. > > All specialized bombs have a challenge rating of 3 (700 XP). > >***Air Bomb.*** This bomb's form is partially gaseous and swirls with the intensity of a thunderstorm. Its fly speed becomes 50, it gains resistance to lightning and thunder damage, and its Elemental Explosion deals 2d6 lightning damage in addition to its normal damage. > >***Earth Bomb.*** This bomb has become as solid as rock. Its AC becomes 16, it becomes vulnerable to thunder damage, and its Elemental Explosion deals 2d6 bludgeoning damage in addition to its normal damage. > >***Fire Bomb.*** This bomb is as red as the intensity of the fire plane. It gains immunity to fire damage, and its Elemental Explosion deals 4d6 fire damage in addition to its normal damage. > >***Water Bomb.*** This bomb appears as a swirling whirlpool of water. Each time the bomb grows it gains +2 damage to its slam attack. If its current size is Large or larger, it instead performs the Elemental Explosion attack. > >### Actions >***Multiattack.*** The bomb makes two slam attacks. > >***Slam.*** *Melee Weapon Attack:* +4 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. *Hit:* 5 (1d6 + 2) bludgeoning damage. > >***Elemental Explosion.*** The bomb's volatile nature becomes too difficult to maintain, and the bomb explodes. Each creature within 10 feet of the bomb must make a DC 13 Dexterity saving throw, taking thunder damage equal to the bomb's remaining hit points on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one. The bomb's hit points are then reduced to 0. The bomb cannot perform this attack unless its size is Large or larger. > >
