# Warlock Patron: Bloodrush Scholarship Getting through adventuring school is not a task for the faint of heart. Some people can succeed on their wits. Some have unparalleled focus, or an exceptional amount of money at their disposal. Some people have raw natural talent. But some people need outside help, be it with money, magic, or drive to get themselves through the difficult schooling adventurers face. And it just so happens that some of those people who need help can throw a ball really, really good. Championed by the school of Darkmouth in Somewherica and quickly sweeping across the rest of the world, college bloodrush scholarships have finally made their way to Solace. For the promise of attending and playing for a specific university through your academic career after you graduate high school, these arcane and physical talents can be yours! ### Expanded Spell List Bloodrush Scholarship lets you choose from an expanded list of spells when you learn a warlock spell. The following spells are added to the warlock spell list for you. ##### Bloodrush Scholarship Expanded Spells | Spell Level | Spells | |:----:|:-------------| | 1st | *longstrider, sanctuary* | | 2nd | *blur, enhance ability* | | 3rd | *blink, haste* | | 4th | *erupting earth, freedom of movement* | | 5th | *mislead, passwall* | ### Athletic Body At 1st level, you are trained to push through blows that would stop less resilient players. Your hit point maximum increases by 1, and increases by 1 again whenever you gain a level in this class. Additionally, you gain proficiency in the Athletics skill. ### Defensive Padding At 1st level, you've learned to defend yourself without needing bulky armor in the way. When you aren't wearing armor, your AC is 13 + your Dexterity modifier. ### Quick Feet Starting at 6th level, you have become more maneuverable on the field. Your speed increases by 10 feet, and you can *Dash* as a bonus action. ``` ``` ### Turnover Starting at 10th level, you can turn an enemy's stumble into your success. When a hostile creature misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to force that creature to repeat the same attack against another creature that you can see within 5 feet of you. ### Fourth Down Starting at 14th level, you learn to hold out when the going is at its toughest. When you are reduced to 0 hit points and are not killed outright, you can choose to drop to 1 hit point instead. Once you use this ability, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest.
