The executioner tree can innately cast the following spell, requiring no material or verbal components: > > 1/Day: *animate dead*, *bestow curse* > ### Actions > ***Multiattack.*** The executioner tree makes three branch attacks. > > ***Branch.*** *Melee Weapon Attack:* +5 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. *Hit* 8 (1d10 + 3) bludgeoning damage. ``` ``` #### From Corpses of Killers An executioner tree is rare to come by, but one should be wary of them nevertheless. These plants grow over the graves of mass killers. As such, they can be found usually inabiting graveyards, and they have unusual ties to the dead. The executioner tree has only one drive, and that is to kill. The tree will stand still, waiting for its prey to approach. It will often utilize its ability to animate corpses of the dead, using these minions to drive prey closer to it. With its slow speed, the executioner tree relies on the undead it controls to aid in subduing its victims. Those slain by the tree are left as a lure to draw in others. If a particular victim proved adept, the tree will keep their body to animate later.
