It has the following additional properties. **Stolen Time.** Whenever you use it to reduce a creature to 0 hit points, the sword slays the creature takes its remaining years, unless it is a construct or an undead . . -. creature whose years have been taken by *Eon* can be restored to life only by a wish spell. When it steals time, *Eon* reduces your physical age by 1d6 + 6 years, to a minimum of 13 years. Each time this affect triggers the container ontop of the blade fills with a bit of sand. **Knowledge Seeker.** While you hold the weapon. you are aware of the presence of Tiny or larger creatures within 60 feet of you that aren't constructs or undead. You are also under the affect of Comprehend Languages as long as you are attuned to the weapon. *Eon* can cast the haste spell on you once per day. It decides when to cast the spell and maintains concentration on it so that you don't have to. **Sentience.** *Eon* is a sentient neutral weapon with an Intelligence of 18, a Wisdom of 16, and a Charisma of 10. It has hearing and darkvision out to a range of 120 feet. The weapon can speak, read, and understand Common, and can communicate with its wielder telepathically. Its voice is deep and echoing. *Eon* also understands all languages besides Abyssal, Deep Speech, and Primordial. **Personality.** *Eon* speaks with an methodical tone, as though it is carefully thinking over each word. The sword's purpose is to gather knowledge. It doesn't care how it gains knowledge, so long as it gains more of it. The sword believes that all strength comes from knowledge and so it seeks to know all that it can. *Eon*'s hunger for knowledge must be regularly fed. If the sword goes three weeks or more without learning a new piece of significant information, a conflict between it and its wielder occurs at the next sunset. If it has not been granted knowledge within a year it will begin to turn on its master, each time the affect of Stolen time is triggered, *Eon* will reduce the age of it's wielder as normal, but will also roll 1d6 , adding the result each time together until it totals 240, at which point the wielder dies as *Eon* rapidly ages the wielder until there is nothing left but dust. With each week that passes once *Eon* begins to count down the time remaining that it is not granted knowledge add 1d6. Each time *Eon* counts the sand in its holder begins to turn sapphire. When its wielder is killed all of the sand contained in the holder is sapphire and the runes on the blade and sand glow a dark navy, before the sand empties out and forms into a clock that quickly counts forward as the wielder ages. ``` ``` > ##### Significant Information > What is significant is going to change from campaign to campaign and DM to DM, as such the DM must specify when Eon is found what it considers to be significant information If the wielder recognizes that the sword has begun counting they may choose to unattune with the blade and leave it behind without fear of being killed.
