## Kelpie These fair folk originated from deep in the Feywild, and have since spread out to other lands, becoming known to other races in a matter of years. Though a seemingly young race, they have been welcomed in most societies. Their alluring appearance makes them stand out amongst any other race, and they are greatly admired in upper class civilizations. ### Friends to Horses There is an unspoken mystery around Kelpie history and that is their bordering kinship with equines. Scholars have tried to solve this puzzle, but to no avail. Regardless of their past, Kelpie express strong affection for horses, and it is not uncommon to find herds of mustangs roving near Kelpie settlements. ### Fey Origin Kelpie originated from bodies of water deep in the Feywild, or so it is said. Aside from their fair appearance, Kelpie share many other traits with the fey, such as their resistance to charms and their inability to be magically put to sleep. ### Kelpie Names Kelpie names follow the typical naming conventions from their homeland, a thick broguish tongue.
