You do not shoot recklessly. : **Mind.** Every bullet carries meaning and must not be wasted. Know the power you wield with responsibility. : **Heart.** You do not kill with your gun, you kill with your heart. ## Gunslinger Beginning at 3rd level when you take this oath, you learn the ritual of blessing ammunition. : Everyday as part of a Long Rest you may bless up to 20 ammunition as part of a ritual where you lay them in front of you and recite your tenets over them. In addition you may use a Firearm as a Holy Symbol when using your Channel Divinity. ## Gunslinger's Smite Starting at 3rd level when you hit with a ranged weapon attack using one of your blessed ammunition you can expend one spell slot to deal radiant damage to the target, in addition to the damage. The extra damage is 1d8 for each spell slot expended. You may only use this feature once on your turn. Each creature of your choice within 30 feet of you must make a Wisdom saving throw if it can see your holy symbol. On a failed save the target is frightened of you for 1 minute. If a creature frightened by this effect ends its turn and cannot see your holy symbol, it can attempt to repeat the save to end the effect on it. While feared the creature can only use its action to Dash, Disengage, or Dodge. \column ### the Hard Way When you hit a creature with a ranged weapon attack you may as a bonus action mark the creature with a Gunslinger's Mark. This mark lasts for 1 minute or until the creature drops to 0 hit points or falls unconscious. : When you hit a creature marked with your Gunslinger's Mark and use your Gunslinger's Smite Feature, the additional Radiant damage is increased by 1d8 radiant damage. You have advantage on attack rolls made against a creature with your Gunslinger's Mark. ## Aura of Menace Starting at 7th level you begin to exude a menacing aura that distracts your enemies from your allies, and makes you the center most threat. Enemies have disadvantage on attack rolls against your allies within 10 feet of you. : At 18th level this aura's range is increased to 30 feet. ## Improved Gunslinger's Smite By 15th level, you are so suffused with the righteous energy of your Gunslinger's Oath that all of your blessed weapon carry divine power with them. Whenever you hit a creature with one of your blessed ammunition that creature takes an additional 1d8 radiant damage. ## Emissary of Gunslinging At 20th level you become an Avatar of Gunslinging which gives you two benefits: - You have resistance to all damage dealt by creatures marked by your Gunslinger's Mark. (Their attacks, spells, and other effects.) - Whenever a creature that you can see makes an attack against an ally, you may make one ranged weapon attack against them as a reaction.
