You perform the ritual over the course of 1 hour, which can be done during a short rest. The weapon must be within your reach throughout the ritual, at the conclusion of which you touch the weapon and bond with it. If you attempt to create another singing sword, your bond with the other weapon immediately ends. While you wield your singing sword it sings softly, granting you a bonus to your damage rolls made with it. This bonus is equal to your Wisdom modifier
(minimum 0). The chosen weapon must meet these criteria: - The weapon must be a simple or martial melee weapon. - You must be proficient with it. - It must lack the heavy and two-handed properties. #### Chanel Divinity: Sword Dance *2nd-level Sword Dancer feature* : You can use your Chanel Divinity to perform a divinely inspired dance called a Sword Dance. It graces you with supernatural speed, agility, and focus. You can use a bonus action to start the Sword Dance, which lasts for 1 minute. It ends early if you are incapacitated, or if you choose to end it (no action required). While your Sword Dance is active, you gain the following benefits: - You gain a +2 bonus to your AC. - Your walking speed increases by 10 feet. - You have advantage on all Wisdom and Charisma saving throws. - You can take the Disengage or Hide action as a bonus action on each of your turns. #### Divine Deflection *6th-level Sword Dancer feature* : When you are attacked by a creature within 30 feet of you that you can see while wielding your singing sword, you can use your reaction to add your Wisdom modifier to your AC until the start of your next turn, including against the triggering attack. Once on each of your turns when you hit a creature with a weapon attack, you can cause the attack to deal an extra 1d8 radiant damage to the target. When you reach 14th level, the extra damage increases to 2d8. #### Spellsong *8th-level Sword Dancer feature* : Your connection to your god deepens. You learn a hymn that helps you channel their divine magic. As you sing it, you can call for aid and the radiant energy surges trough you as you revel in their praise. When you use this feature, you choose which option to use: - You can cast one cleric spell of 3rd level or lower, consuming the appropriate spell slot. You don’t need to have the spell prepared. - You can cast one cleric spell of 3rd level or lower as a ritual, even if it doesn't have the ritual tag. You don't need to have the spell prepared.
