The creature must make a DC 23 Dexterity saving throw, taking 26 (4d12) fire damage, and being ignited on a failed save. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and is not ignited. While ignited the creature has disadvantage on saving throws to maintain Concentration, and takes 6 (1d12) fire damage at the start of each of its turns. The creature remains ignited until they or another creature within 5 ft. of them uses their action to exstinguish the flames, or until the creature is doused with holy water. If damage from this ability reduces a creature to 0 hit points, their body is reduced to ash. : ***Freezing agony.*** Tendrils of cold twist inside a creature within 600 ft. of Sulfur, freezing them from the inside. The creature must make a DC 23 constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 32 (5d12) cold damage, and it is restrained until the end of its next turn. If this damage would reduce the target to 0 hit points, the target drops to 1 hit point instead and has the petrified condition, turning into a frozen statue. If the statue takes bludgeoning damage, it shatters, killing the frozen creature. On a failed save, a creature takes 18 (4d8) necrotic damage, and it is poisoned for 1 minute. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn’t poisoned. You may only dedicate yourself to two gods. If you wish to dedicate yourself to a third god, you must denounce one you have dedicated yourself to. Upon denouncing your god, you lose all your piety with them, and all features it granted you. : Gaining Piety * Praying to Sulfur in a ritual circle, or a site holy to him (Once per circle or site) * Murdering 13 innocent humanoids in a single day * Bathing in fresh humanoid blood * Collecting 13 severed heads of humanoids you have killed * Putting yourself before others (1/week) * Converting a creature to the worship of Sulfur, but presenting him as Alll-Mer. * Bringing the word of Sulfur to people who have never had a chance to hear it, while presenting it as the word of Alll-Mer. * Engraving the symbol of Sulfur upon your face (+3) * Ritually killing a humanoid in the same way Alll-Mer died. Portals and circles made from this trait can only connect to portals and circles created with this trait. #### Sulfur's disciple *Requirements: level 11, Piety +25* : You can cast *Longinus* with this trait, requiring no material components. Once you cast the spell in this way, you can not do so again until you finish a long rest. #### Champion of Man *Requirements: level 15, Piety +50* : Sulfur recognizes your drive and will help you on your path, whether you like it or not. Upon gaining your Fiftieth point of piety the Sulfur god grants you his full attention. You are teleported to the sulfur pits, a place that is both summer and winter at once, the burning sun scorching your flesh while long tendrils of cold freeze you to the bone, all alongside the ever present reek of sulfur. The sulfur god sets about carving away your weakness, hacking at your imperfections, molding you like clay, into something better. The process is beyond painful and takes what feels like decades. Upon the process' completion you rise from the dark pits, in the exact location you were abducted from, mere moments after your dissapearance. You are changed in the following ways: * Your type changes to fiend * Your alignment changes to evil * Your Bonds and ideals are replaced with "I am the only person who matters" * You are immune to the Charmed, Frightened, and Poisoned conditons. * You are resistant to Cold, Fire, and Poison damage, as well non-magical Bludgeoning, Piercing, and Slashing damage * You are immune to the *Power Word Pain* spell. * You increase your Strength and Constitution by 2, up to a maximum of 26. * Upon dying your soul is trapped in the sulfur pits, until Sulfur no longer wills it so. }} \page #### Blood sword *2nd-level conjuration* **Casting Time:** 1 bonus action **Range:** Self **Components:** V, S **Duration:** Concentration, up to 1 minute : You weave together boiling sanguine tendrils to create a sword of solidified blood in your hand. This magic sword lasts until the spell ends. It counts as a simple melee weapon with which you are proficient. It deals 2d8 fire damage on a hit and has the finesse, and light properties. In addition, When a creature you can see damages you, you can use your reaction to make a melee attack against that creature, with advantage on your attack roll. If you drop the weapon, it dissipates at the end of the turn. Just a drop thrusts spears to the torso of his enemies, a drop this spell conjures into the palm of your hand, where it quickly grows into a *Spear* or a *Lance* with the *heavy* property (Your Choice). : This magic weapon lasts until the spell ends. It deals an additional 2d8 radiant damage on a hit and you may use your casting stat modifier in place of Strength for attack and damage rolls using it. On your turn you can cause the *Longinus* to teleport into your emtpy hand, if it isn't already there. : As a bonus action on your turn, you can throw the weapon at a creature within 60 ft., and cause the weapon to emit a burst of unholy blood & sulfur. Make the attack roll as normal. Whether you hit or miss, each creature of your choice that you can see within 30 feet of the target must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 4d8 radiant damage, and it is poisoned for 1 minute. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn’t poisoned.
