# Bard College: College of Gospel Heroes are not the only ones immortalized in song. Gods have always demanded service of many kinds - sacrifice, reverence, obedience. But perhaps the most freeing option to share in a god's truth and power is that of song. Praise and glory are unto those who sing a gods' praises, whether in the halls of a church or to the nonbelieving in a field. And if you don't worship a god, but you just feel *really* strongly about a thing, it's a great excuse to learn the mandolin! #### Turning Inspiration When you gain this subclass at 3rd level, you gain the limited ability to frighten and punish undead. As an action, you can expend a use of your Bardic Inspiration and choose any undead creature that can see or hear you within 30 feet. The creature must make a Wisdom saving throw against your Spell Save DC. If the creature fails its saving throw, it is turned for 1 minute or until it takes any damage. A turned creature must spend its turns trying to move as far away from you as it can, and it can’t willingly move to a space within 30 feet of you. It also can’t take reactions. For its action, it can use only the Dash action or try to escape from an effect that prevents it from moving. If there’s nowhere to move, the creature can use the Dodge action. You can expend multiple uses of Bardic Inspiration in one action. When you do so, you target an additional creature for each die expended. #### Gospel Spells You learn certain spells when you reach certain levels in this class. Choose the Cleric domain that best matches the god or cause which you perform for. When you reach a bard level equal to the cleric level stated for its domain spells, you may choose one of the two domain spells to learn yourself. This spell counts as a Bard spell for you if it isn’t already one and does not count against the number of spells you know. When you take this subclass at 3rd level, you gain both the 1st and 3rd level spells from your chosen domain. For example, if your god is of the Life domain, you may take the cure wounds and lesser restoration spells on taking this subclass; when you reach 5th level, you may then take revivify; and etc. ``` ``` #### Rejuvinating Inspiration At 6th level, you can expend one use of your Bardic Inspiration to heal one creature you can see within 30 feet of you. The amount you heal the creature equals a roll of your Bardic Inspiration die. #### Hymnal At 14th level, you learn to sing in the language of the gods and convey their message far and wide. You learn Celestial if you do not already know it. When you use your Song of Rest feature, creatures regain additional hit points equal to your Charisma modifier. In addition, when you use your Countercharm feature, those who can hear you may also add your Charisma bonus to any saving throw they make while they can hear you play.
