Cushioning foliage sprouts across the ground underneath you within range. A creature that ends its fall in that area can subtract 100 feet from the fall when calculating falling damage, including against the triggering fall, and takes only half damage from the fall.

The foliage lasts for the duration. You can end the spell early by using an action to dismiss it.

***At Higher Levels.*** When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the range of the spell increases by 10 feet for each slot level above 1st.
