This song and dance is all so familar, but you can never exactly place where you know it from. You know that you should be dead, but you don't know why. Sometimes when you look at a certain person or place, you begin to faintly recall a past that you are unsure is your own. Your magic feels like it was borrowed from someone that lived lifetimes ago. You don't know why or how you got to be like this, but does that even matter at this point? Others will simply scoff at you and deem you a lunatic. But you know better than that. Deep down, you know that this life isn't your first, and it certainly will not be your last.* ___ #### Steadfast Will ___ Starting at 1st level, your soul stubbornly fight against departing from your body when faced with death. You gain advantage on death saving throws, and when you roll a natural 1 on a death saving throw it counts as one failed save instead of as two. ___ #### Learn from Past Mistakes ___ At 1st level, you can use your magic to channel the experiences of a past life in order to overcome failure. When you fail a skill check or saving throw that you aren't proficient in, you can expend a spell slot of 1st level or higher to gain a bonus to that skill or save equal to your Constitution or Charisma modifier (your choice) for a number of hours equal to the level of the spell slot expended. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your Proficiency Modifier, regaining all expended uses on a short or long rest. ___ #### Muddled Recollections ___ Beginning at 6th level, you learn how to tap into your past lives in order to cast magic you once knew. As an action, you can spend sorcery points to cast a spell of 1st level or higher of your choice from any classes' spells list, as long as it is a spell that you don't already know. The number of sorcery points you need to spend is equal to twice the level of the spell you want to cast. Spells cast using this feature still require all their components, and you can't use this feature to cast a spell with a level higher than you have slots for. You can use this feature to cast a spell of 7th level or higher only once per long rest. ___ #### Echoes of Home ___ At 14th level, you've come to remember more about your first life, and can now use your magic to transport you and your allies to your original home. You learn the Word of Recall spell. It counts as a sorcerer spell for you, but doesn't count against the number of spells you know. You don't need to designate a sanctuary ahead of time when using this spell, as instead your sanctuary is considered to be a location that featured predominatly in your first life. The exact whereabouts of this location is to be determined by you and your DM. ___

When you die or are killed, such as by failing three death saving throws or by being killed outright, you can use a reaction to spend as many sorcery points as you currently have to immediately restore yourself to life as if the Reincarnate spell had been cast on you. If you spent at least 15 sorcery points on this feature; you can choose the form your of new body rather than rolling for it and you can choose to keep one racial trait, not including ability score increases, from your previous life. Once you spend sorcery points in this way, you cannot do so again until a full day has passed. ___ However, the power to outrun the Reaper comes at a cost. Any attempts made by friendly or allied creatures to revive you, outside of using the Wish spell, will automatically fail to retrive your soul from beyond the mortal veil. ___ ___
