# Hotspots
Hotspots are canines that have been corrupted by the fires of the Hells. Dogs of all kinds that have been taken from their home planes, forced to endure the heat and eternal torment of the plane of devils and fiends. Despite their corruption by the fiendish energies, and the subsequent powers attained from centuries of exposure to the Hells, Hotspots are still considered beasts and maintain many of the traits of their canine ancestors. 

Hotspots come in many different forms, getting their traits and appearance from whatever lineage of canine they belonged to before being subjected to the Hells environment. The key characteristic difference between Hotspots and their ancestors is their hair or fur, which appears as if it is constantly burning. Hotspots are extremely warm to the touch, yet not hot enough to burn whoever they come into contact with. The other key difference in appearance is the Hotspots deep red eyes.

Hotspots are incredibly loyal beasts, easily trained and capable of performing a wide variety of tasks, they are considered prized beasts to own. Whether it be guarding an area, or hunting and tracking, Hotspots will perform their task until commanded otherwise. Some Hotspots are even trained in battle, loyaly following their master into the fires of war. Some larger Hotspots have been trained as mounts, being ridden by fiends small enough to ride them into battle. 

Hotspots, when encountered alone, will generally not appear aggressive, unless provoked.

***Hot Spot.*** Any space targeted by a *Spot Shot* or *Hot Shot* erupts into flame and remains burning until the end of Hotspots next turn. Any creature that starts their turn in a *Hot Spot*, other than the Hotspot, takes 3 (1d4 +2) damage. Additionally, any flammable object or clothing not being worn or carried in the space of a *Hot Spot* immediately ignites.

***Spot Jumper.*** Hotspot, as a bonus action, can teleport to any *Hot Spot* within 30ft of it.

***Pack Tactics.*** The Hotspot has advantage on an attack roll against a creature if at least one of the Hotspot's allies is within 5 feet of the creature and the ally isn't incapacitated.

### Actions
***Hot Shot.*** *Ranged Spell Attack:* +4 to hit, range 30ft. *Hit* 3 (1d4 +2). This attack, on a success, will leave a *Hot Spot* on the ground directly beneath the target of this attack, so long as the target is in direct contact with the ground.

***Spot Shot.*** *Ranged Spell Attack:* Target; any unoccupied space within 30ft that is directly on the ground. Target space erupts into flame, leaving a *Hot Spot* in its place.

***Bite.*** *Melee Weapon Attack:* +4 to hit, reach 5ft., one target. *Hit* 5 (1d6 +2)
