# Solesian Magic Items #### Briefcase of Holding *Wondrous item, uncommon* ___ This briefcase has an interior space considerably larger than its outside dimensions, roughly 2 feet in diameter at the mouth and 4 feet deep. The briefcase can hold up to 500 pounds, not exceeding a volume of 64 cubic feet. The briefcase weighs 15 pounds, regardless of its contents. Retrieving an item from the briefcase requires an action. If the briefcase is overloaded, pierced, or torn, it ruptures and is destroyed, and its contents are scattered in the Astral Plane. Breathing creatures inside the briefcase can survive up to a number of minutes equal to 10 divided by the number of creatures (minimum 1 minute), after which time they begin to suffocate. Placing a briefcase of holding inside an extradimensional space created by a bag of holding, handy haversack, or similar item instantly destroys both items and opens a gate to the Astral Plane. The gate originates where the one item was placed inside the other. Any creature within 10 feet of the gate is sucked through it to a random location on the Astral Plane. The gate then closes. The gate is one-way only and can't be reopened. #### Headphones of Solitude *Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)* ___ When wearing these headphones, the user has resistance to thunder damage and immunity to damage from spells that have solely verbal components, such as *vicious mockery* or *hunter's mark*. OR advantage on saving throws against spells that have solely verbal components, such as *vicious mockery* or *command*. #### Jacket of Useful Things *Woundrous item, uncommon* ___ This jacket has 10 charges, and regains 1d6 charges daily at dawn. As an action, a person can expend a charge of the robe by reaching into its front pocket and producing any item worth less than 10 gp. The jacket cannot produce living creatures; any attempt to do so will create a half-formed, ghoulish version of the creature, which dies immediately after its creation. #### Magic Vehicle Wax *Woundrous item, common* ___ A type of car wax that has been imbued with limited magical properties. When applied to a land vehicle, the holder can use the wax to cast the *mending* cantrip. #### Mithril Snap Bracelet *Wondrous item, uncommon (requires attunement)* ___ You gain a +1 bonus to AC and saving throws while you wear this bracelet. ``` ``` #### Ruby Guitar Pick *Wondrous item, uncommon* ___ You can use this pick to cast *Protection from Energy* (fire damage only), *Burning Hands,* or *Charm Person* once without the use of a spell slot. Charisma is your spellcasting ability for these spells, and if they have a save, the DC equals 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Cha modifier. Once you use this pick to cast any of the above spells, you can't use it again until the next dawn. #### Skateboard of Sickness *Wondrous item, rare* ___ While weilding the skateboard of sickness, the user can *dash* as a bonus action. Additionally, if falling down next to a sheer surface, the weilder can cast *featherfall* from the skateboard. This is not a usual casting of the spell; instead, the weilder slows their descent by doing some sick tricks down the surface they're falling next to. #### Sneakers of Dunking *Wondrous item, rare* ___ While wearing these sneakers, you gain proficiency in the *acrobatics* skill if you did not already have it. While wearing these sneakers, the user's jump distance is tripled. In addition, as part of their movement, the user can attempt a DC 15 *acrobatics* check to jump off any nearby furniture. On a success, the user has advantage on any attack rolls or Dex-based skill checks for the rest of their turn. #### Sword of Shadows *Weapon, rare (requires attunement)* ___ You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls with this magic rapier. Once per day, you can use the sword to cast *misty step* without use of a spell slot. This feature recharges daily at midnight. #### Teddy Bear of Helpfulness *Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement)* ___ While attuned to this teddy bear, the user can use it as a conduit to maintain concentration on a spell for them, allowing them to cast a second concentration spell in conjuction with the first. The teddy bear automatically fails any concentration checks as a result of taking damage. #### Tome on World Religion *Wondrous item, uncommon* ___ This book contains information about religious rituals, histories, and locations, and its words are charged with magic. If you spend 10 hours over a period of 6 days or fewer to study the book's contents, you gain advantage on *nature* and *religion* checks. Only one being can have these benefits at a time.
