When played they coat your hands in sound. A monk gains the following benefits while wearing them: - You have +1 to hit and damage with unarmed attacks. - Your unarmed attacks do thunder damage. - Your unarmed attacks have reach. - When you hit a creature with an unarmed attack, you can expend 2 ki points to deal an additional 1d8 thunder damage and push the target back up to 10 feet. # Non-Weapons ### Ancestral Prayer Beads *Wondrous item (necklace), Uncommon* A necklace of prayer beads. It is used by holding it in the hand and focusing on each bead one at a time. You can use the beads to gain the knowledge of your ancestors. A monk gains the following benefits while holding it: - You can use your Wisdom modifier instead of your Intelligence modifier for Religion checks. - You can spend 1 ki point to substitute your Wisdom modifier for your Intelligence modifier when you make an Intelligence based ability check. - As a bonus action you can cast the cantrip *guidance* on yourself which can only be used for ability checks that are normally based on Intelligence (even if you substitute Wisdom). \column ### Ancestral Robe *Wondrous item (robe), Uncommon* A robe made from strips of robes of ancient monks, it appears to be made of patches and scraps.
