Those stones orbitted their user and enchanted them with enhancing effects. Ever the mad innovator, Kwalish used this arcane basis to create new offensive items.

#### Kwalish Stone *Wondrous item, very rare (requires attunement)*

A spellcaster can imbue this irregular purple crystal with a spell of 6th level of lower (in the same manner as a [*spell gem*](http://dnd-5e.herokuapp.com/magicitems/spell-gem)). This spell must: require concentration, not have a range of self, and target a single creature.

As an action, an attuned user throws the stone towards a creature within a 20-foot range. The target must make a Dexterity saving throw against the spell's save DC. If they fail, the stone begins to orbit them at high speed within their space An attuned user can use their action to throw a spell-imbued stone towards a creature within a 20-foot range. The target then makes a Dexterity saving throw against the original caster's spell save DC. This saving throw is made with advantage if there is a creature of the same size or larger within 5 feet of the target. If the target fails, the stone begins to orbit them within their space at high speed: subjecting them to the imbued spell's effects for its duration. If they succeed, the stone falls randomly to an adjacent space and the spell is not cast. During the spell's duration, you can use an action to transfer the orbit of the stone and the targetting of its spell to a new creature. The new target must be of the same size or larger, and in an adjacent space to the prior target. The new target does not make a saving throw. The stone's concentration on the spell is broken once it is hit (AC 24) or caught with a DC 24 Dexterity (Acrobatics) check. The stone falls to the ground when the spell ends.
