They have joined their nature with that of the forest's trees and are able to change their body into a tree like form. They use bows to hunt the enemies of the forest. They use the power of thorns and vines to entangle and slay their foes. ### Longbow Proficiency At 2nd level, you gain proficiency with the longbow. ### Ensnaring Strike Starting at 2nd level, you learn the spell *ensnaring strike*. You always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. It is a druid spell for you. ### Limbs of Yew At 2nd level, you gain the ability to transform your body to gain aspects of a tree with long limbs and barkskin. As a bonus action, you can expend a use of your Wild Shape feature to transform into yew form, rather than transforming into a beast form. While you are transformed you gain the following benefits: * Your AC increases by +2. * Your speed increases by 10 feet. * You can attempt to hide even when you are only lightly obscured by foliage. * You have advantage on Dexterity (stealth) checks to hide in forest terrain. You can stay in yew shape for a number of hours equal to half your druid level (rounded down). You then revert to your normal form unless you expend another use of this feature. You can revert to your normal form earlier by using a bonus action on your turn. You automatically revert if you fall unconscious, drop to 0 hit points, or die. ### Awakened Arrows At 6th level, you learn to awaken the magic in the wood of your arrows. Whenever you fire a nonmagical arrow from a shortbow or longbow, you can make it magical for the purpose of overcoming resistance and immunity to nonmagical attacks and damage. The magic fades from the arrow immediately after it hits or misses its target. Once per turn when you fire an arrow from a shortbow or longbow as part of the Attack action, you can imbue the arrow with grasping brambles. When the arrow strikes its target, the brambles wrap around the target. The creature hit by the arrow takes an extra 1d10 piercing damage and its speed is reduced by 10 feet until the start of its next turn. The damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 11th level (2d10), and 17th level (3d10). ``` ### Forest Stride Starting at 10th level, moving through nonmagical difficult terrain costs you no extra movement. You can also pass through nonmagical plants without being slowed by them and without taking damage from them if they have thorns, spines, or a similar hazard. In addition, you have advantage on saving throws against plants that are magically created or manipulated to impede movement, such as those created by the Entangle spell. ### Forest Speech Starting at 14th level, you can cast *speak with plants* at-will.
