### Circle of the Air
Flexible as the wind's currents, druids of the Circle of the Air manipulate their namesake with practised ease, serving as emissaries and stewards of the sky itself.
{{subclassTable
| Druid Level | Features |
|:-----------:|:--------------------------------------|
| 2nd | Circle Spells, Gale Talisman |
| 6th | Tailwind |
| 10th | Bend the Breeze |
| 14th | Embodiment of Air |
}}
#### Circle Spells
*2nd-level Circle of the Air feature*
___
You are imbued with the air's magics. When you reach certain Druid levels, you gain access to the spells in the table below. They count as Druid spells for you, and you always have them prepared, but they don’t count against the total number of spells you prepare each day.
{{subclassTable
| Druid Level | Spells |
|:-----------:|:-----------------------------------------|
| 2nd | *expeditious retreat, feather fall* |
| 3rd | *levitate, warding wind* |
| 5th | *fly, wind wall* |
| 7th | *divination, storm sphere* |
| 9th | *control winds, steel wind strike* |
}}
#### Gale Talisman
*2nd-level Circle of the Air feature*
___
You possess a talisman that strengthens your bond with the wind. It is a Tiny object and can serve as a spellcast-ing focus for your Druid spells. You determine its form by rolling on the table below or by choosing one.
:
| d6 | Talisman Form |
|:--:|:--------------------------------------------------|
| 1 | A handheld fan engraved with breeze patterns |
| 2 | A necklace with an iridescent feather centrepiece |
| 3 | A global map of the wind's speed and direction |
| 4 | A wooden rod adorned with paper streamers |
| 5 | A bracelet made of dandelion stems and puffballs |
| 6 | A translucent bottle filled with swirling clouds |
:
While holding this talisman, you have these benefits:
___
- You know *gust*. It has a range of 60 feet, can push creatures and objects in any direction instead of away from you, and can affect creatures of any size. A willing creature can choose to fail the spell’s save.
- Whenever you push a target using *gust*, you can also make it inflict 1d8 bludgeoning or slashing damage. This damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8).
- You can cast a Circle Spell that you have access to without expending a spell slot. Once you do so, you can't do so again until you finish a long rest.
___
If you lose this talisman, you can perform a 1-hour cere-mony to magically create a replacement. This ceremony can be performed during a short or long rest, and it de-stroys the previous talisman.
:::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::::
#### Tailwind
*6th-level Circle of the Air feature*
___
The winds bolster your magic's capabilities. When you cast a Circle Spell, you can expend a Wild Shape usage to maintain it without concentration. The spell ends ear-ly if you recast or dismiss it (no action required).
Additionally, whenever a creature comes into contact with a *wind wall* you create, you can force it to succeed on a Strength saving throw or be unable to pass through the wall until the start of its next turn.
#### Bend the Breeze
*10th-level Circle of the Air feature*
___
The air moves however you command it. When you cast *control winds*, you alter its effects in the following ways:
***Gusts.*** When a creature starts its turn in this area, you can force it to make a Strength saving throw. On a failed save, you push it up to 15 feet in the wind's direction.
***Downdraft.*** When a creature comes into contact with this area for the first time on a turn or ends its turn there, you can force it to succeed on a Strength saving throw or fall prone.
***Updraft.*** You can use your bonus action to grant any willing creatures of your choice within this area a magi-cal flying speed of 30 feet until the end of your next turn.
#### Embodiment of Air
*14th-level Circle of the Air feature*
___
Your connection to the sky and everything in its domain reaches its peak. You add *investiture of wind*, *scatter*, *wind walk*, and *whirlwind* to your list of Circle Spells.
