# Monk: Way Of The World Serpent
Long ago, there was an ancient jungle island that held an elixir of life. It is said that whoever drinks this elixir will be reincarnated into an immortal being. The Bridgid's Bride, a corrupt and evil cult of yuan-ti came across the island and found that it held great temples and ruins of old snake gods.
the temples led the cult to become worshipers of many snake deities, one of them being the World Serpent: a powerful primal spirit. Originally a cult of Evil, the Brigid's Bride now believes in wisdom above all else and expanding your consciousness. Their simplest goal is to provide suffering for the powerful and healing for the weak. the higher-ups should suffer just as much as everyone else and people that suffer greatly should be relieved of that pain or if not possible, be put down.
Some of the Brigid's Bride members are clerics of death and trickery who do the will of the snake gods. A few are monks of the World Serpent. Assassins That hide among commoners until the need arises to strike and also providing healing and wisdom to the poor and weak.
Monks of the World Serpent emulate the movement and fighting style of a serpent, Slithering around foes and striking with venomous ki. They use movement to get near stronger targets, make them suffer, and weaken them with deadly ki. They also use ki to heal others and expand their own consciousness so they can create balance.
