# Circle of the Burrow ### Circle of the Burrow The Circle of the Burrow is made up of gnomes, halflings, and those who are friends with the earth and burrowing animals. ### Wild Burrower Starting at 2nd level, you have a mystic connection with burrowing mammals. You can use a bonus action to Wild Shape if you are transforming into a burrowing mammal such as a badger or giant badger. Additionally, you have 2 extra uses of Wild Shape that can only be used to Wild Shape into the form of a burrowing mammal. You regain expended uses when you finish a short or long rest. ### Hibernation At 2nd level, you learn the spell *sleep*. You always have it prepared, and it doesn't count against the number of spells you can prepare each day. It is a druid spell for you. As an action, you can cast *sleep* at the highest level for which you have spell slots without using a spell slot. Once you cast *sleep* this way, you cannot use it again until you complete a long rest. ### Aura of the Warren Starting at 6th level, whenever you or a friendly creature within 10 feet of you must make a saving throw, the creature gains a bonus to the saving throw equal to your Wisdom modifier (with a minimum bonus of +1). You must be conscious to grant this bonus. ### Friend of Animals At 10th level, the magic of animals has become innate. You can cast the spell speak with animals at will and do not need V,S, or M components. You can cast it while Wild Shaped into the form of a burrowing mammal. You also gain proficiency in the Animal Handling skill. Your proficiency bonus is doubled for any ability check you make using Animal Handling skill. ### Burrowing At 14th level, your hands are calloused and your nails are hard. You gain a burrowing speed of 10 feet. Credit: el-grimlock
