### Sorcerous Origin: Iceheart
In the cold regions of many worlds, sometimes someone is born with sorcerous power over cold, ice, and snow. Sometimes this is chance, other times it is a boon from a powerful cryonic being, but regardless they are often chilling in the depths of their sorcerous power.
While Icehearts have a reputation for being cold in personality as well as powers, they are just as capable of personal warmth as anyone else.
#### Winter Spells
You learn additional spells when you reach certain levels in this class, as shown on the Winter Spells table. These spells count as a sorcerer spell for you, but do not count against the number of sorcerer spells you know. You cannot replace these spells when you gain a level.
|Sorcerer Level|Spells|
|:--------:|:---------|
| 1st | *armor of Agathys, frost fingers*|
| 3rd |*Rime's binding ice, Snilloc’s snowball swarm**|
| 5th |*sleet storm, slow* |
| 7th |*conjure minor elementals***, *ice storm*|
| 9th |*cone of cold*, *hold monster*|
| 11th |*wall of ice*|
*As a Winter Spell, this spell has base damage dice of 4d6, and the radius of the sphere generated by the spell is 10 feet.
**Unless you gain this spell from another source, you can only conjure **ice mephits** with it.
#### Cryonic Origin
Beginning at 1st level when you select this sorcerous origin, you are immune to the effects of extreme cold as detailed in the *Dungeon Master’s Guide*.
Additionally, when you cast a spell dealing cold damage, you can reroll any 1s on the damage dice, but must use the new rolls, even if they are still 1s.

#### Polar Magician
At 6th level, you gain resistance to cold damage. If you already have resistance to cold damage from another source, you instead gain resistance to fire damage.
Furthermore, you can add your Charisma modifier to one damage roll per turn of a spell that deals cold damage for its duration.
#### Icy Devastation
Starting at 14th level, you can briefly channel your power over cold to further destroy your foes. When you roll cold damage for a spell of 6th level or lower, you can forgo rolling and treat each die as having rolled its highest value. For example, 3d8 becomes 24.
Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
#### Frigid Master
Starting at 18th level, you are one with the cold. You are immune to cold damage, and your spells that deal cold damage deal half damage to other creatures with immunity to cold damage.
