## Parasite Race Yeerks, Tok'ra, Goa'uld, they go by many names in many different worlds, but they all share a common bond... a need for your body. ### Parasite Traits **Ability Score Increase.** Your Intelligence Score increases by 2. **Age.** Parasites are able to first take a host one year after being spawned. Most parasites live an average of 60 years on their own, but while infesting a host they do not age normally, and often can survive for centuries by finding suitably long-lived hosts. **Size.** Parasites are the size of tiny slugs or snakes and grow no more than 10 inches long. Your size is Tiny. **Speed.** While outside a host, your base walking speed is 5 feet and you have a swimming speed of 30 feet. Otherwise, you speed is equal to that of the host's. **Blind.** While outside a host, you are blinded. **Parasitic Nature.** While outside a host you cannot take actions other than dodge, disengage, hide, or attempt to infest a creature. **Infest.** Target willing or incapacitated creature you are touching must make a Charisma saving throw against 8 + your Constitution modifier + your proficiency bonus or become infested. Once infested, your mind and the mind of the infested creature become connected. You can share thoughts, feelings, memories, with one another at will and you share all sensory information from the host creature for as long as you remain touching one another. Until you are rejected or forcibly removed, you and that creature also share control of its body, though only one of you can act through the body at a time. In combat, the body can only take the normal number of actions, bonus actions, reactions, and object interactions, and both creatures share the same pool of movement. The creature currently in control of the body can use its reaction to give control over to the other. The creature not in control of the body can use its action to attempt to take control of the body. To do so, it makes a Constitution check contested by the controlling creature's Charisma. On a success, the control of the body immediately switches and neither party can attempt to do so again until the body takes damage or after 1 hour. If control of the body changes in this fashion more than once before the creature takes a short or long rest, then both you and the infested creature gain a level of exhaustion. The statistics of the host body change based on which creature is in control of it. As a parasite, you are able to stimulate the energy of the body to perform impressive feats that it might not normally have been able to perform. While in control of the body, it's statistics are replaced with your own, though whatever active spell effects or abilities are active on the body remain for their normal durations. You can concentrate normally on spells and effects while in control of the body or not in control of the body, though you can only take actions other than attempting to take control of the body while you are in control. You can leave an infested creature as an action, appearing at a point of your choice on the creature's body. **Languages.** While outside a host, you can only communicate using a special kind of electrochemical signaling. While touching a creature or swimming within 10 feet of once, you can directly communicate thoughts, feelings, memories, and sensory information to it. It does not have to speak a language for you to impart this mental stimulation to it. By [NASA](http://www.reddit.com/user/ImFromNASA).
