# The Goblet, the Censer, and the Dagger ### Three magical items found at the Goblin Shrine in Cragmaw Castle. #### Defiled Censer of Lathander Wondrous item, rare (requires attunement) ___ This tarnished silver censer once belonged to a Morninglord Priest of Lathander. Embellished suns adorn the face, scratched off by a goblin priest of Maglubiyet. On the two rounds following the round the incense in this censer is lit, all units within a 10 foot radius receives bonuses of +1 on attack rolls and +1 on all saving throws and is allowed one extra attack per round. The spell recipient glows with a rose-red radiance during this time of augmented ability. #### Defiled Goblet of Tymora Wondrous item, rare ___ This once beautiful silver Goblet of Tymora has been defiled by a goblin priest of Maglubiyet. Its silver is long since tarnished, and the black marks seem impossible to remove. The engraved faces have been scratched off, and claw marks scour every square inch of the surface. When you drink from this goblet, you feel that luck is with you. Any time in the next 24 hours, you can reroll one attack roll, ability check, or saving throw you dislike. You must use the second roll. This property can’t be used again until the next dawn. #### Goblin Dagger of Maglubiyet Weapon, rare (requires attunement) ___ This black bladed dagger once belonged to a goblin priest of Maglubiyet. The hilt is in the shape of a spider with a small red ruby on its abdomen. Once per day, when you stab a creature with this blade, you can cast *Bestow Curse (3rd-level necromancy)* as a bonus action. That creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw or become cursed for the duration of the spell. When you cast this spell, choose the nature of the curse from the following options: • Choose one ability score. While cursed, the target has disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws made with that ability score. • While cursed, the target has disadvantage on attack rolls against you. • While cursed, the target must make a Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of its turns. If it fails, it wastes its action that turn doing nothing. • While the target is cursed, your attacks and spells deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage to the target. The spell recipient glows with a rose-red radiance during this time of augmented ability. ___ **Cursed Effect:** The rose-red radiant glow is *Faerie Fire (1st-level evocation)*. For the duration, objects and affected creatures shed dim light in a 10-foot radius. Any attack roll against an affected creature or object has advantage if the attacker can see it, and the affected creature or object can't benefit from being invisible. #### Defiled Goblet of Tymora (Cursed) Wondrous item, rare ___ This once beautiful silver Goblet of Tymora has been defiled by a goblin priest of Maglubiyet. If parted from the weapon more than 10 feet, you will be cursed with one of the curses from the *Bestow Curse (3rd-level necromancy)* spell. After attacking, the wielder must roll a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or be cursed with the same curse. • Choose one ability score. While cursed, you have disadvantage on ability checks and saving throws made with that ability score. (Same ability score that caster chose.) • While cursed, all creatures have advantage on attack rolls against you. • While cursed, you must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw at the start of each of your turns. If you fail, you waste your action that turn doing nothing. • While cursed, all attacks and spells against you deal an extra 1d8 necrotic damage to you. A remove curse spell or a short rest ends this effect. **Death Burst.** When the cursed target is destroyed, it explodes in a burst of acid and guts. Each creature within 10 feet of it must make a DC 12 Dexterity saving throw, taking 7 (2d6) acid damage plus 7 (2d6) necrotic damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
