You create a magical topographical map of the surrounding 5 mile area. The amber is placed ontop of the black powder, which is laid on top of the piece of paper. The incantation is spoken, and the black powder is ignited through magical means, which then launches the piece of amber two miles into the air. The amber, upon reaching its apex, magically explodes creating an audible sound and flash of light seen and heard within a 3 mile diameter centered on the spells location.

The spell then creates a to-scale map of the surface area on the paper, visualizing all natural landscapes and other natural formations. Trees, swamps, water formations, hills and mountains, the type of terrain (e.g. grasslands, stone, sand or dirt) as well as the surface geographical height levels are all dictated by the map. Any unnatural structures within the spells radius are not visualized on the map, and are instead shown as open areas marked by the terrain the structures are built upon.

The spell lasts for 48 hours, not requiring concentration. If you were to leave the area dictated by the map, the spell will end.
