Holy Brick on a Rope

Melee weapon (flail), rare (requires attunement by a paladin)

"Upon this holy ground, I lay the first brick of our glorious cathedral. May it stand as a monument to our adherence to the will of our Lord Daelvor, to whom we are the chosen ones."

-Saint Barry, six months before the collapse of the aforementioned cathedral and his subsequent failed suicide attempt.

"Well fuck."

-Saint Barry, six seconds after the collapse of the cathedral and sixty seconds before his pranksty assistant handed him a magic prank rope.

Forged by God (not really)

Some may look upon this fine creation and think "that's a brick on a rope" and while they are correct, they are also wrong, for it is holy as fuck. This weapon is a creation of the monks of the Holy Order of Prophet Stevicus' Second Ascension. If anyone asks, it took them three days and three nights to make it. They did not just cobble together some junk they found in the reliquary and dunk it in holy water.

It is comprised of two relics holy to the Church of Stevicus:

The Brick of Saint Barry.

The first brick to be laid in the foundation of the Cathedral Church of Saint Barry. It's magic. For some reason.

The Rope of Tragic Comedy.

The rope which St. Barry tried to hang himself with when the construction of the Cathedral Church of Saint Barry collapsed. Saint Barry was a renowned scholar and preacher but a complete clusterfuck of an architect. Who knew? Everyone, everyone knew that.

Magic Weapon

The Holy Brick on a Rope is a magic weapon (considered an improvised weapon) that grants a +2 bonus to attack and damage rolls made with it.

Magical Reach

At will, the wielder can extend The Rope of Tragic Comedy, effectively extending the weapons reach to 10 ft.

Heretic Proof

Should a follower of the Church of Carlinus or the Church of Matteus attempt to attune to this weapon, they will be set on holy fire for being such dirty heretics and not following the Church of Stevicus, the church of Daelvors one true prophet. Maybe. Probably not. But why take the chance?

Heathens are okay though, it's not their fault their god sucks.
