Horologius

Your patron is a force from beyond this plane, a creature of powers mysterious and unbounded by this reality. It is the ceaseless rumble at the heart of the universe, the constant tick of that measures the passing of each moment. It has seen legendary civilisations rise and fall, mighty mountains crumble to dust, and even Gods themselves fade from living memory.

Horologius is both time itself, and its keeper of order, linearity and coherence. It can barely comprehend the brief lives of mortals, and so it does not interact with its followers directly. But, perhaps unbeknownst to it, adherents of Horologius often act in synchronicity, piecing together great plots, all the while unaware of others assisting them. Horologius makes its will known through visions, portents and impossible coincidences, and its followers often wield magic that can bend time, twist luck and glimpse both the past and future. But such is the force of its resolve, that if Horologius desires something of you, your compliance is both necessary and inevitable.

Chrono Riftwalk

Starting at 1st level, immedaitely after you damage a creature with a spell you may mark the creature with a chronorift. This mark lasts 1 minute or until consumed.

You can use these rifts to bend time around yourself in order to move with incredible speed. When you take damage, you may use your reaction to teleport to any point within 5ft of one of these rifts that you can see. This does not consume the rift.

Signs and Portents

Starting at 6th level, your patron bestows upon you the power to glimpse the future. When you finish a long rest, roll two d20s and record the numbers rolled. You can replace any attack roll, saving throw or ability check made by you or a creature you can see with one of these ‘foretold’ rolls. You must choose to do so before the roll, and you can replace a roll in this way only once per turn.

Each foretelling roll can only be used once. When you finish a long rest, you lose any unused foretelling rolls.

Temporal Dissociation

Beginning at 10th level, the eternal and detached nature of your patron begins to affect your consciousness. When a creature marked with a chronorift charms or frightens you, you can consume the rift and ignore the effect of that condition. Furthermore, if you are concentrating and a creature marked with a chronorift damages you, you may consume the rift instead of taking a constitution saving throw to determine if your concentration is broken.

Borrowed Time

Starting at 14th level, you can draw on the power of your patron to slow time for all those around you, allowing you to act with incredible speed. Immediately after your turn, you may take another turn. Outside of combat, this ability allows you to fit 12 seconds of activity into 6 seconds. During both of these turns your speech is unintelligible, creatures cannot react to your actions or movement, and your melee attacks have advantage. Once you use this feature you can’t use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Eldritch Invocations

Temporal Instability

Prerequisite: Horologius Patron

When 3 creatures marked with chronorift are within 20ft of each other, you can use your reaction to consume the rifts, splintering the local timestream. Each creature then takes 1d10 psychic damage.

Timeshatter

Prerequisite: Horologius Patron

Immediately after you hit a creature marked with a chronorift with a melee attack, you can consume the rift and deal 1d12 psychic damage to it. At 5th level the damage increases to 2d12, at 11th level it increases to 3d12 and at 17th level it increases to 4d12.

Once per short rest, you can freeze time around the target. If you do so, the target must make a wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or become stunned until the end of your next turn.

Tempo

Prerequisite: Horologius Patron, eldritch blast cantrip

When you cast eldritch blast¸ you may create one more beam than usual. On your next turn, should you cast eldritch blast, you create one less beam than usual.
