The alicorn
Some creatures- not just ponies- see the equine being at the head of Harmony not just as a leader, but a divine being. Perhaps she is a manifestation of The Pyramid itself, sent to guide the lost creatures of The City to salvation. Or maybe she is an all-powerful interloper, taking pity on th mortals and granting them her divine protection. Whatever you beleive, you see her not as just a powerful pony, but a symbol. No matter your alliegiance, you have faith that she is the solution to what ails this world so, and would follow her commands unwaiveringly.
- The Dominion has outlawed worship of the alicorn, and actively seeks out devotees. Dominion characters who select this as their faith must keep it discreet, lest they attract the attention of Enforcers
The dragon
The great founder of the kirin unity, the scaly beast who once pledged to tame the violent masses of The City, is often revered as a god-like being amongst kirins, and even some other creatures. You see him not as a lizard, or a destroyer, but the very manifestation of power itself. By offering your piety to the great being, you are filled with his wrath, but also the comfort that no force in this world will stand between you and your goals.
The Machine
The Machine. The Magnum Opus. The Pyramid. All monikers ascribed to the marvel of technology that rests at the heart of The City, and all failing to capture its divine majesty. You see it not just as a 'machine', but the will of The Goddess, placed upon this earth for her children to bask in its greatness. Machines can change the world, The Pyramid is tangible proof of this, and your faith in machinery prevails to this day as you incorporate them into your very life- and for some, even their bodies.

Each of the faiths draws on the power of their patron, granting them unique abilities that distinguish one from the other. While most of these abilities are passive, some characters will be able to discern the source of these powers with high enough perception.
