Increased damage from Critical Strikes from 4 to 5 when dealing a Melee Attack. Gain +1 to Melee Attack.

Prestige Passive Abilities

EXAMPLE PRESTIGE PASSIVE

When you unlock a Prestige Class via an RP Quest, you will gain access to a new class skill. This is typically a stat modifier, but it could also be a new passive ability or a change to your playstyle entirely.

Remember: you still have access to your Base Class toolkit abilities as well as your Prestige abilities if you undergo this quest.

  • Shamanism: Gain a +5 to knowledge rolls for elemental understanding, shamanistic abilities, and Elemental magic.

  • Sunwalker Faith and Practices: Gain a +5 to Knowledge rolls regarding topics of the Sunwalkers, their history, practices, abilities, and behavior.

  • Tribe History: Gain a +5 to tribe history rolls regarding their accuracy.

  • Wyvern Combat Tactics: Gain a +5 to Knowledge rolls regarding flight abilities, distance, and airborne combat strategies.

  • Northrend Survivalist: Gain a +5 to Knowledge rolls regarding harsh winter climates and survival in Northrend, including edible animals and plants, and friendly or dangerous cultures that reside there.

Tauren (Shu'halo) Ability

Passively, gain +2 to Grapple. Additionally, you are able to automatically stun (no roll required) up to 3 targets within Melee range of you for 1 turn. Useable once per encounter.

Spirit Totem

Tauren (Shu'halo) Ability


  • Charges: 1

Call on your Spirit Totem to assist you in battle once per encounter. Your Spirit Totem grants you a random +1 to a Main Stat for the remainder of the encounter.

Additionally, it will follow your command for 2 turns before returning to the Shadowlands.


Roll 1d6 to determine which stat is blessed:

Base Class Active Abilities

Fire Shock Totem (Rank 2)

Shaman Ability


  • Duration: Instant
  • Targets: 3

Place a totem on the battlefield that pulses each turn attacking 3 enemy targets closest to it for 1 damage. It has only 3 HP and can be targeted.

Where There's Thunder (Rank 2)

Shaman Ability


  • Duration: 2 Turns
  • Cast Time: 2 Rounds

Call forth a miniature storm that takes 2 rounds to form but once it does it will strike 2 enemy targets at random with lightning for 2 damage each for the rest of the encounter.


Prestige Active Abilities

When you unlock a Prestige Class via an RP Quest, you will gain access to three new toolkit abilities you select as you level up. These are typically active, but can be passive.

Remember: you still have access to your Base Class toolkit abilities as well as your Prestige abilities if you undergo this quest.

Special Abilities

Sunscorched Earth

Level 5 Base Class

Duration: 2 Turns (AOE), 1 Turn (Stun)

Charges: 2

Create an AOE damage pool within melee range of you that lasts for 2 turns, dealing 2 damage and gripping any enemy's heart in terror for the initial round. Enemies of a high level may roll Will Save against your Intimidation roll for the initial stun.

Sunwalker's Presence

The Light of a Sunwalker radiates about them at all times. Their faith and power shine from within.

At the top of the round, choose to either buff a random ally with +1 to all main stats for the following round or debuff a random enemy with fear, lowering their Critical Strike ceiling from 20 to 16 for that round.

Ancestral Empowerment

Duration: Passive


As Chieftain of the Skyrunner Tribe, Kanatu is blessed with the wisdom and power of his forebearers. They flow through him and guide his path so that he may lead his people into a powerful and safe future.

Gain a +2 to all main stats, but your ancestors constantly keep you awake with torments or ceaseless advice. You now have a Negative Trait: Ancestral Awakening.

An'she's Judgment

Secondary Epic RP Quest

Duration: 3 Turns

The burning gaze of An'she is warm to some and piercing judgment to others. Enemies are scorched from the inside of their souls out to their body's corruption, ill intention, and faithlessness, burned away by his ever-watchful eye.

Call down a blazing pillar of sunlight on a target that deals 4 Holy damage instantly and another 1 damage for 3 turns.

You unlock this ability when you reach level 5 in your Prestige Class.


Negative Traits

Ancestral Awakening

  • Description: Due to the constant link Kanatu maintains with the Skyrunner spirits through the Skyrunner Totem he is susceptible to sleep loss, nightmares, waking dreams, and dissociation. He also requires a great deal of sleep and when he doesn't get that sleep it's fairly bad for him.

  • Stat Modifications: -2 Constitution, -2 Diplomacy, -2 Perception when sleep deprived

Spirit Drain

  • Description: The magic needed to keep the link with the Skyrunner totem has a huge drain on Kanatu and as such he has to eat. A lot. So much so that after a single day without food the damage to his body and his mental state starts to creep in.

  • Stat Modifications: Gain a stack of a Starvation effect. Each stack causes you to become more irritable and less able in combat. - 1 to Charisma and Strength each stack.

  • Special Effects Enduring Might: Armor protects wearer from critical strikes two times before repair. The first critical strike against the wearer deals two damage, the second deals three damage before it no longer provides a benefit.

  • Elemental Fortitude: Elemental attacks against wearer do half damage outside of critical strikes which fall under the restrictions of Enduring Might.

  • Commanding Presence: When meeting new NPCs the necessary Charisma checks are lowered by two for all party members. Note: If Kanatu fails a charisma check against a new npc, they will refuse to speak to him directly due to being intimidated.

Blazefury

Melee weapon:

  • D20 Modifiers +1 Melee Attack
  • Special Effects Strike of Magma: (3 rounds) Blazefury does one additional damage whenever you strike a target. When you roll a 17 or above on a target you apply Blistering Wounds.

  • Blistering Wounds: (2 rounds) Deal an additional one damage every round for the next two rounds of fire damage. Can only stack once.

  • Attunement: N/A



Necklace of Binding

A druid-blessed necklace unique to each individual Windwarrior. Their wyvern wears a twin item.


  • Acquisition Completion of the Judgment of the Wyverns
  • D20 Modifiers +1 INT, +1 Spell Defense
  • Special Effects Allows telepathic communication with your wyvern. The stronger the bond, the further this range extends to. Thoughts, feelings, and images are shared across this bond.

The Horn of Calling Winds

  • Special Effects Once per encounter blow on the horn to rally all Skyrunner Tribe members together and give them Skyrunner's Call.

  • Skyrunner's Call: Every Skyrunner gets an Advantage buff on their next turn. If they critical strike without modifiers in that turn their damage is doubled.


The Blooding Knife

  • Acquisition Created by Grutuk for the Offering of the Blooded Feather

  • Special Effects If used any other time but the Offering of the Blooded Feather Rite this blade creates a Spirit Link

  • Spirit Link: Join minds with your target and enter a spirit battle for dominance. Rolling Will Saves to counter and Spell Attacks to act. Spirit Link lasts until one party is subdued or the blade is pulled free. Gaining Dominance over a target allows the weilder to gain access to informaiton, truth, memories, and intent. It also makes the target a mind slave that they can recover from after a few days of rest.
