Green Osaslaad Ritual

Some Green Osaslaadi can’t live with the fact that they were unable to evolve and seek out the means to force the evolution. They do this by performing a vile ritual. For this ritual, you will need a control gem from a Grey Slaad (costs 1000gp if untethered from the Grey Slaadi), your essence or the essence of a Green Osaslaad or Slaad (blood, hair, or a piece of flesh), and a worthy aberration sacrifice (CR 5 or higher, e.g., Red Slaad). All will be consumed by the ritual, and you will have to consume the aberration sacrifice (You must make a DC 8 + CR of aberration +/- for size +1 for each size larger or -1 for each size smaller Con save). On a fail, take CR halved (rounded down) D10 bludgeoning damage, but the ritual continues unless you die, fall unconscious, or manually stop it with an action. On a success, you fully consume the aberration, and the ritual continues. Draw a 10-foot radius circle on the ground using chalk or any other substance. Place the aberration in the middle and insert the control gem into its head or where its head would have been. Place the essence on the chest and kneel in front of the corpse. The ritual lasts 3 hours and can’t be interrupted, or the ritual fails, and you fall unconscious for 1d4 hours. You are intensely focused, and only taking damage (damage from failing the Con save doesn’t stop the ritual) will interrupt the ritual. Once the ritual is complete, you turn into a Grey Osaslaad and fall unconscious for 1d4 hours and gain a point of exhaustion.
