Although not fey beings themselves, their culture and known history is closely intertwined, with racoonfolk often settling near places that bridge the gap between the Material Plane and the Feywild. Many have speculated just where the racoonfolk have came into being. The two prominent theories being that they are an experiment by an Archfey, or simply a fey's pet that had evolved through the powerful magicks of the Feywild.
