Celeste, Sword of the Forge (Celeste, Ithrun Eron Da Kadrel)

This longsword was forge by a member of the famous Bronzebeard Clan. Thorun Bronzebeard has dedicated his life to the worshop of Moridon and as a reward for his worship Moridon has allowed him to craft a weapon of masterful craftsmanship. A weapon forged from his defeated enemies. Each time the blade is reforged a new property is added to this weapon. Some day this weapon's name will ring through-out the tales of bards the world over.

The Spoils of War

When an enemy of great power is defeated a part of that enemy can be harvested and added to the weapon. Each time the weapon is reforged 500gp and 10 downtime days over the course of 30 days. are used to reforge it. Doing so will add 1 propoerty decided by the DM to the weapon.

Damage Types

The weapon may have active on it one of the following damage types: All Damage done by this weapon is considered magical for the purposes of overcoming resisitences

  • Undead Bane - From the ashes of a lich this weapon grants it's weilder a +1 to attack and damage rolls as well as a Crit range of 19-20 against undead.

Bonus Ability

  • Sword Burst - After being reforged with the fragment from Belneir's heirloom, Celeste can now cast the cantrip Sword Burst.

Passive Abilities

This weapon having been originally forged from the ash of a Lich has been given some of the lich's power.

  • When the weilder is slain they revive with-in 100ft of the weapon 1d10 days after death.

This effect can be undone if the magic in the weapon in broken by Dispell Magic, Antimagic Field, or similiar spell before the wielder's revival.

Should the wielder's revival be stopped, they become the spirit of the sword and gain sentience with-in the weapon. An identify spell or a DC 20 Arcana check reveals this ability.
