Bracers of Might

The wearer of these bracers gains a +1 to attack and damage rolls when making unarmed strikes, and their unarmed strikes are considered magical for the purposes of overcoming immunity or resistance to nonmagical weapons. The bracers have 3 charges per long rest than can be used to do different things.

  • Battering Blow: Once per turn when you make an unarmed strike, regardless if you beat their AC, you can force the target to make a Strength saving throw against your DC of 8 + Proficiency Bonus + Strength modifier. On a failed save they can be knocked up to 15 feet away, taking 2d8 bludgeoning damage and being knocked prone. This takes 1 charge.

  • Haymaker Stance: You can only enter this stance (free action) if you haven't moved during the current turn. While you enter this stance, your movement speed becomes 0 and can’t be increased while this stance is active. The stance lasts until the end of your turn. All unarmed strikes that you make this turn add your proficiency bonus to the damage rolls.

  • Bodyguard: Using 1 charge you can swap places with someone within 5 feet of you using your reaction. If this draws an opportunity attack it is made against you instead, but with disadvantage. You can immediately make one attack against any creature that attacks you like this with advantage. If you already have advantage, you add your proficiency bonus to the damage roll.
