Demiplane (Variant)

8th-level conjuration

  • Casting Time: 1 action
  • Range: 60 ft
  • Components: S
  • Duration: 24 Hours

You create a shadowy door on a flat solid surface that you can see within range. The door is large enough to allow Medium creatures to pass through unhindered. When opened, the door leads to a custom demiplane that appears to be an empty room 30 feet in each dimension, made of any common material (your choice). When the spell ends, the door disappears, and any creatures or objects inside the demiplane remain trapped there, as the door also disappears from the other side. If you cast this spell in the same place every day for 100 days the door stays permenantly, as long as the demiplane the door is linked to was first created on the same plane, and no longer can be dispelled.

Each time you cast this spell, you can create a new custom demiplane with a total volume of 27000 cubic feet and fits within a 100foot-cube, you choose the layout of the demiplane, the demiplane has the same physical properties of the plane it was first created on and retains these properties even when extended unless those properties are the direct result of a living being, alternatively when you cast this spell you can expand a current demiplane or have the door connect to a demiplane you created with a previous casting of this spell. Additionally, if you know the nature and contents of a demiplane created by a casting of this spell by another creature, you can have the shadowy door connect to its demiplane instead.
