  • Casting Time: 1 action or 1 bonus action - see below
  • Range: 120 feet
  • Components: M (the gem, which is not expended)
  • S (touch the gem)
  • Duration: Until dispelled or focus is broken

  • Persistent Effect: The wielder can see through illusions, and knows if a target is lying.

  • Action: Can be focused to read the true inner thoughts of a target. The target will not be aware their mind is being read.

  • Bonus Action: If all four Elemental Gems are used in a turn, one wielder of an Elemental Gem may use a bonus action on their turn to roll 4d20. The result of the highest two dice, plus proficiency bonus, can be used to heal a target, or cause radiant damage to a target, ignoring damage immunity. The Essence of Eriavar will determine whether the effect heals or causes damage based on the alignment of the target. Each wielder of an Elemental Gem has one use of this bonus action per long rest.

  • Lore: This legendary artifact is said to have been created upon the birth of Eriavar. It is the manifestation of pure good and the power of friendship, and opposite to the Void Crystal, bringing balance to the forces governing the hearts and minds of the creatures that inhabit this continent. Once lost from the material plane, it was brought back into existence by combining the four Elemental Gems, deep within Blastfury Volcano, by the Champions of Calimport a.k.a. the Eriavar Health and Safety Association.
