Susar

Susar are strong and powerfully built Pig and boar like humanoids, with a nearly insatiable hunger, and the cabability to eat any meat or vegitation available to them, commonly considered mindless brutes, Susar are just as capable as any race, but their constant need to eat, and their insatiable nature make settling difficult for the Susar to settle in one land for long.

Nomadic Scavangers

The Susar are master scavangers and salvagers, that live a nomadic lifestyle due to their nature constantly ravaging the lands they attempt to settle, peaceful Susar communities move frequently, and leave well enough alone, but those that have given in to their gluttony roam not as a nomadit tribe, but as a Warband of Warriors, women, children elderly, all fight to satiate their undying hunger.

Steel and Scrap

The Susar have mastered the techniques of Salvaging, learning to smith at lower tempretures with lower quality metals has taught them how to make best use of even the most tattard of equipment, A Susar Knight can be seen Clad in Makeshift Plate, made of broken pots, plates of steel from cracked and shattard shields, and helmets made of latrines or Buckets, Despite their appearence, a Susar Knight is no less deadly than a well equiped knight of any other race.

Unstopable

The Susar are stubborn, beyond sense and logic, once they have decided to do something, it is nigh immpossible to change their minds without a great deal of effort, this stubborness is even apparent in their biology, Susar standing up from deep and fatal wounds in mear moments, Susar have a powerful regeneratie property to their bodies that is seemingly joined to their Botomless hunger.

Susar Traits

Your Susar character has certain traits deriving from your Susar ancestry.

  • Ability Score Increase: Your Constitution score increases by 2.
  • Age: Susar mature a little faster than humans, reaching adulthood around age 14. They age noticeably faster and rarely live longer than 50 years.
  • Alignment: Susar inherit a tendancy towards lawful behaviors, respecting their betters, have a leaning towards evil notions of strength over the rights of others, Susar communities tend to be dominated by local tyrants, who have proven to be both strong and capable.
  • Size: Susar are somewhat Shorter and bulkier than humans, and they range from 4 and 5 feet tall and average about 300 pounds. Your size is Medium.
  • Speed: Your base walking speed is 25 feet. Your speed is not reduced by wearing heavy armor.
  • Gluttons Resilience: You have advantage on saving throws against poison and disease, and you have resistance against poison damage.
  • Tool Proficiency: You gain proficiency with the artisan’s tools of your choice: smith’s tools, brewer’s supplies, or Cook’s utensils.
  • Insatiable Hunger: You require four times the usual amount of food in a day to be satisfied, additionally during a short or long rest, you can consume eight times the usual amount of food to restore one point of exhaustion and Half your maximum number of expended Hit Dice.
  • Regeneration: As a bonus action on your Turn, you may expend a Hit dice, rolling it, you restore that many missing hitpoints, when you use your last hit dice this way, you suffer a point of exhaustion.
  • Languages: You can speak, read, and write Common and Orc. Orc is a harsh, grating language with hard consonants. It has no script of its own but is written in the Dwarvish script.

Subraces

Gluttar

  • Ability Score Increase: Your Strength score increases by 1.
  • Combat Training: You have proficiency with the battleaxe, handaxe, light hammer, and warhammer.
  • Foul Gluttony: As an action on your turn, you can consume the corpse of one medium sized creature, or four small sized creatures or nine tiny sized creatures in a matter of seconds, Doing so Restores one Hit Dice, and one level of exhaustion, doing so requires you to have not moved, and consumes all further movement, as you spend your turn leant over the corpse devouring it gruesomely.

  • Ability Score Increase: Your Intelligence score increases by 1.
  • Broad Training: you have proficiency with one skill of your choice, and one tool of your choice.
  • Extra Language: You can speak, read, and write one extra language of your choice.

Pig Lord

The Pig Lord is a unique Susar that hold powerful ruling abilities over the Susar. Appearing once every few hundred years. Causing violence across the world, in the name of keeping its people fed and strong.

The Pig Lords hold an unnatural ability to regenerate, this regeneration extends beyond simply closing wounds, as a Pig Lord can regenerate lost limbs and organs with ease, like other susar this powerful regeneration is tied with its hunger.

When a Pig Lord is brought into the world, it begins its life not knowing its true nature, driven, charismatic and wise, these creatures rise to leadership amoung Susar easily, and hold a deep connection and love for their people, it is this love...that can sometimes cause a susar to do terrible things for the sake of their people.

During times of great stress, hunger or hardship, a Pig Lord's true nature are revealed, as their body grows in size, their flesh regenerates at a speed unseen before, and their drive to protect their people only grows in proportion to the danger beset on them, even going as far as to slice off their own flesh to feed the starving, to charge into danger and war to protect their people.

To a Susar a Pig Lord is both a blessing and a curse, for those that partake in a Pig Lords offered flesh inveriably become Gluttar, and receive a innate connection to the Pig Lord in the form of the Pig Lords Starving Ones trait, which both empowers the bodies of Gluttar that follow a Pig Lord, and weaken their minds.

Pig Lords who have realized their true strength are a danger to entire regions, as they rampage through to feed, defend and empower the Susar, destroying entire ecosystems and civilizations to raise up their kin, there is no compromizing with a Pig Lord, Only getting out of their way, or feeding him.

Legendary Resistance (3/Day). If the Pig King fails a saving throw, it can choose to succeed instead.

Magic Resistance. The Pig King has advantage on saving throws against spells and other magical effects.

Regeneration. The Pig King regains 50 Hit Points at the start of its turn, this regeneration is reduced by 10 for every point of exhaustion the Pig King has at the start of their turn, the pig king cannot restore hitpoints when they are at 6 points of exhaustion. The Pig King dies only if it starts its turn with 0 Hit Points and doesn't Regenerate.

Starving Ones. The Pig King and any Susar that have eaten its flesh willingly, cannot have their either their movement speed or hitpoint maximum reduced by exhaustion, cannot die or be rendered unconcious due to exhaustion, but suffer all other effects of Exhaustion, additionally, The Pig King and any susar that have eaten its flesh willingly, restore all points of Exhaustion after consuming a satisfying meal, but suffer an additional point of exhaustion at the end of every hour.

The Pig King suffers this point of exhaustion at the end of his turn.

Siege Monster. The Pig King deals double damage to objects and structures.



Actions

Multiattack. The Pig King can use its Frightful Presence. It then makes five attacks: one with its bite, two with any weapons it has or its Unarmed attacks, one with its tusks, and one with its hooves. It can use its Swallow instead of its bite.

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: (4d12 + 10) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it is Grappled (escape DC 20). Until this grapple ends, the target is Restrained, and the Pig King can't bite another target.

Unarmed. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: 28 (4d4 + 10) bludgeoning damage.

Tusks. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 10 ft., one target. Hit: (4d8 + 10) piercing damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Hooves. Melee Weapon Attack: +19 to hit, reach 15 ft., one target. Hit: (4d6 + 10) bludgeoning damage. If the target is a creature, it must succeed on a DC 20 Strength saving throw or be knocked prone.

Frightful Presence. Each creature of the Pig King's choice within 120 feet of it and aware of it must succeed on a DC 17 Wisdom saving throw or become Frightened for 1 minute. A creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, with disadvantage if the Pig King is within line of sight, ending the effect on itself on a success. If a creature's saving throw is successful or the effect ends for it, the creature is immune to the Pig King's Frightful Presence for the next 24 hours.

Swallow. The Pig King makes one bite Attack against a Large or smaller creature it is Grappling. If the Attack hits, the target takes the bite's damage, the target is swallowed, and the grapple ends. While swallowed, the creature is Blinded and Restrained, it has total cover against attacks and other effects outside the Pig King, and it takes 56 (16d6) acid damage at the start of each of the Pig King's turns. If the Pig King takes 60 damage or more on a single turn from a creature inside it, the Pig King must succeed on a DC 20 Constitution saving throw at the end of that turn or regurgitate all swallowed creatures, which fall prone in a space within 10 feet of the Pig King. If the Pig King dies, a swallowed creature is no longer Restrained by it and can escape from the corpse by using 30 feet of Movement, exiting prone.

Devour. The Pig King Devours a corpse within 10 feet of himself, plucking it from the ground and swallowing it with one gulp, curing himself of all points of exhaustion, and preventing him from suffering a point of exhaustion at the end of his turn.


Legendary Actions

Can take 3 Legendary Actions, choosing from the options below. Only one legendary action can be used at a time, and only at the end of another creature's turn. Spent legendary actions are regained at the start of each turn.

Attack: The Pig King makes one Weapon or Unarmed attack Attack or Hoof Attack.

Devour: The Pig King moves up to half its speed, and uses its Devour action.

Chomp (Costs 2 Actions): The Pig King makes one bite Attack or uses its Swallow.
